Now Jar Jar definitely has to die.
I’m pretty sure Ahmed Best wore the suit for ROTS because he did an interview where he talked about a “dark and intriguing” scene starring Jar Jar that eventually got cut and hasn’t made it onto any DVD/BD releases yet.
Years ago I heard rumors of a scene where Jar Jar was killed by Clone Troopers in the Senate building. I even saw a clip that was probably fake, but since the whole movie looked fake I couldn’t tell 😉.
Nah, in the interview he said it was a scene where Palpatine thanked Jar Jar for putting him in greater power over the government. I’m kinda glad it was cut because the fact that Jar Jar promoted him in the first place is a big “fuck you” to the audience already.

Don’t do drugs, unless you’re with me.

Burn him with flames.
Nah, fire’s too good for 'im.
This would be a more appropriate demise.
I don’t know, anything to get him dead is fine.
Never seen this behind the scenes shot from ESB before.
Where were you in '77?
How can you tell it’s bts?
So besides people thinking Rey might be a skwalker, has anyone theorized that Fin could be a calrissian?

Yes, many people.

Excellent random Star Wars picture.
That’s going in my signature, thanks for finding it.
I haven’t seen that emoticon for probably five to ten years.

Offically sanctioned Ewok firing a blaster? If so, we’ve come a long way from Lucasfilm forcing Topps to remove a knife from an Ewoks hand back in the 90’s.

I dunno, this looks like fan art to me, either way it’s pretty cool to see Ewoks fighting with modern weapons.
As for anything official (well, Legends anyway), there were some Ewoks at the battle on Coruscant in Dark Empire. There’s no shot of them actually firing any blasters, but I doubt they were equipped with bow and arrow.
However, this got me wondering what other art/fan-art I might find of Ewoks with “modern” weapons, and I was not disappointed;
The one on the right is apparently Legends-canon.

Right. Didn’t see that.
Still doesn’t mean it’s canon though. Not that I’m complaining either way. Ewoks with guns is pretty awesome regardless.

Oh, I wasn’t arguing it was canon. Just that Lucasfilm might be loosening up in allowing Ewoks to be less cute, and more violent these days. 😉

Ewoks have guns in ROTJ. I don’t know if we see em firing, but I know there’s a shot of one holding a gun above his head in celebration near the end of the battle and we’re clearly meant to think he’s been using it. There needed to be more of that.
Makes sense. He may have been annoying, but he got out and lived his life instead of staying glued to the couch watching Jar-Jar Binks cartoons. 😉
His life was terrible though.

Yep!
And as I’ve said elsewhere, unused shots from ROTJ found their way into the second Ewok film. At least one looked like they were firing an Imperial blaster.

His life was terrible though.
He had many exciting adventures, made friends, lead his people to victory, he’s a decorated war hero and he apparently found love.
Doesn’t sound so bad. How’s your life story comparing? 😉
