WTF? Strangely though, I kept watching.
To me it never got better than this: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=CbvqGEhRssw
Not sure if it’s better, but it’s pretty close at the least.

SONIC RACES THROUGH THE GREEN FIELDS.
THE SUN RACES THROUGH A BLUE SKY FILLED WITH WHITE CLOUDS.
THE WAYS OF HIS HEART ARE MUCH LIKE THE SUN. SONIC RUNS AND RESTS; THE SUN RISES AND SETS.
DON’T GIVE UP ON THE SUN. DON’T MAKE THE SUN LAUGH AT YOU.

^My Biography.
The CGI two-headed announcer for TPM is even worse because they actually filmed the two actors in live-action with makeup-- meaning that the use of CGI there was totally unnecessary.
I’m starting to wonder what was the original plan for these guys.
They were clearly planning to CG their bodies.

Hmmm! Interesting. I guess the original plan was actually to have two live-action heads on a CGI body (which would undergo less scrutiny than the actors’ expressions). I suspect that in the event the live-action footage and the CGI meshed together too poorly to be convincing, resulting in the use of an all-CGI model instead.

Secretary Salvucci! The time has come. Execute Order 144.
Er… what?
As the good book says, “And take back 11 cubits to honor the pagan god whose oak this is.”
“That Darth Vader, man. Sure does love eating Jedi.”
You know what you doing.
Fiat voluntus mea, monsieur.
Oh. Well, never mind then. I thought you were selling maps to the Legendary Lost Treasure of Melee Island ™. ;P

Are you talking to yourself? That’s not allowed unless it’s within the same account…
FYI, here’s the original version of the podrace announcers:

You know of the rebellion against the Empire?

I can see how that might have looked too weird to use, even by PT standards.
So where they supposed to have been frankensteined together?

That is literally scary. It looks like something out of a low budget ripoff of Star Wars.
Not enough people read the EU.
Or some really whacked out reimagining of Zaphod Beeblebrox…
Two headed aliens have been around in Science Fiction a long time though.
Where were you in '77?
I bet those announcers are really good at skiboxing.

Ooh baby.
I kind of hope this is for real!

These are apparently a prank, but Brooks has voiced interest in making the sequel.
I would put this in my sig if I weren’t so lazy.
I find his stuff to be uneven at best (from moderately entertaining to just plain awful) and he’s now pushing 90. Please don’t make any more movies, Mel.
Yeah, I gotta agree with Frink. I love Young Frankenstein and Blazing Saddles. History of the World has many bits of gold scattered throughout. But I’ll pass on the rest really.
The original version of The Producers is a classic, High Anxiety and Silent Movie are pretty watchable.
Yeah…the writing for the short lived Spaceballs: The Animated Series does not leave one with much confidence.
