Here's a spoilery link including the first look at Domhnall's character (afaik), as well as Han, Finn, and Rey in the Falcon cockpit.
I'm just laughing at Grunberg being in the film. I can't see him outside of his Heroes role. Hopefully after TFA I'll only see him as a pilot.

Wonder where Chewbacca is?
EDIT: According to another source, Chewbacca is in the back, injured.

Fixing The Falcon's hyperdrive, where else?
VIZ TOP TIPS! - PARENTS. Impress your children by showing them a floppy disk and telling them it’s a 3D model of a save icon.
If so, his frames are probably missing (again)...

Well, I guess this does tell us that Chewie still weirdly off?
The eyes look more normal in other promo shots.
Got any pics or links?
He looks weird in the trailer and in every promo shot I've seen.
I doubt that Mayhew is in a lot of the pics/film released. He could hardly walk at Celebration even with the knee surgery. I think we are dealing with a new actor for Chewbacca in many scenes, hopefully one that can learn from Mayhew how to be Chewie.
It seems like people are really embracing the new characters. In fact, the big question people ask me now about Star Wars is, “Are Finn and Poe gay lovers?” And really how the f*ck would I know? My second husband left me for a man, so my gaydar isn’t exactly what you’d call Death Star level quality. ----Carrie Fisher
How does that Chewie in the morph seem off? Different Chewie masks with differing fur patterns and slight differences were done with EP 4 thru 6. Compare all those and tell me there aren't any differences. Mayhew probably did many of sitting or close up to the face scenes. Where Chewie is walking or running, someone else stepped in.
The differences seen in just the TFA stuff so far seem to point towards another Wookiee being in the film, most likely Chewie's kid.
Where were you in '77?
I really don't see that at all. Not in the least.
The tattoos don't convince you?

Beyond the hair pattern/color differences, it's also much softer looking while in the OT it seemed quite course. They eyes seemed more visible (and real?) in the OT (In the trailer the face seems to have some CGI goin' on). Also, his eyes in tho OT slanted down and now they slant up, giving him a Kenny Rodgers facelift look. Which is the story I'm going with.

Eh, it's hard to tell for sure if they've made actual tweaks to the costume along the way since that first pic with Iger (there's different lighting, different perspectives, different expressions, and loose vs slicked back fur for each pic), but I'm pretty sure it's still intended to be Chewie in each of those images. It would be very cool, though, to see another Wookiee besides Chewie.. maybe Lumpy ;)
New interesting looking Promotional Banner for the TFA.

I'm inclined to agree... I'm just wondering how they've kept this from leaking out. Then again, we haven't seen much of Hamill, aside from the teaser.
That promo art seems to show a different Wookiee, too.
Oops, double post.

This one looks way more Chewie. It's something in the way his fur is combed, I guess.
What's with this trend of editing pictures to make them look old, anyway? We're going backwards lol

I'm convinced its Lumpy from the holiday special who is the Wookie and that Maz is a member of Jefferson Starship who will help Rey and Han through song and dance.

That and his eyes don't look like they're being pulled back with a pair of hooks.
Keep in mind that it was Chewbacca we see in the trailer, who looks very much like the Wookie that's in every other picture we've seen.

I'm really laughing at all of this because had their been an internet back then people would have been complaining the Chewie in 1980 ESB looked too different than the one in ANH, and ROTJ. Same goes for ROTJ as compared to those first two. You cannot clearly see Chewbacca's eyes in every scene he's in of the OT either.

I'm pretty sure there are bbs posts out there, still archived, that date back to at least when ROTJ was released.

Ewoks. Oh boy, now the rebel alliance has been saved by Teddy Bears. Give me
a break. Oh, sure, their cute as can be, but what the hell are they doing
fighting Imperial Stormtroopers? Ewoks are the kind of creatures that make us
want the rebels to win because they get slaughtered or something; they are
not the kind of creatures that beat Stormtroopers. And with what weapons did
they beat a squadron of the Imperium's best? Sticks with little rocks on the
end.

I'm pretty sure that Episodes I, II, and II will be about Anakin (Darth Vader) Skywalker and how he was drawn to the Dark Side of the force (what is the offer he couldn't refuse?). But, what will Episodes VII, VIII, and IX be about? Will the Empire rise into power once more, lead by a sinister, new leader? Or will a new enemy terrorize the galaxy?
