Does anyone who has the Starkiller '77 DVD want to send me a copy? I have a decent trade list. Hope I didnt' miss the boat on this one. I saw Star wars in 77' at a drive in, but I was 4 years old, so my memory is a little fuzzy (now empire, I remember that like it was yesterday!). Would love to see this.

Is the Starkiller version going to be put up at myspleen at some point? I don't have Newsgroup access and would love to get my hands on a copy of this.

I second the request for the Starkiller '77 version to be put up on MySpleen. It's an important document of something that seems to be disappearing more with every passing day, and I think we need something to compare to.

Anybody?

Putting it up on myspleen may be a little difficult at the moment. There's always demonoid or thepiratebay though.

I agree as well, there needs to be a wider-release of this than newsgroups, and it doesn't appear to be on other file-sharing networks.

The piratebay is has been closed down. They had the servers confiscated a few weeks ago. :-(

It was only down for a day or two and has been back up since then.

Hello everyone,

Is there any chance a kind hearted soul would send me a copy of this '77 theater bootleg DVD?
I can't find it on any torrent sites etc.

I'm sure I don't need to say how much i'd like to add this little gem to my collection! We all feel the same way afterall.

It must be regarded as a sort of holy grail in starwars bootleg video, having heard about it on and off over the last 20 years.

I'm in the UK and will happily reimburse anyone for the time and materials who can send me a copy.
PM or email me please and thanks in advance.
All the best, chris.

I'll fix that . . . .

However, in practice you must take into account the “fuckwit factor”. Just talk to Darth Mallwalker…

When I used to make covers in the days before photoshop, etc, I would type text, neatly cut around it rectangularly, and then stick that to black paper (so you had black text in a white box on a black cover). I would also photocopy store bought VHS covers and cut out the copyright info etc to give it a slightly professional feel. I would then photocopy the whole thing to 'flatten it' and then I would stick a colour postcard of the poster for the main picture.

War does not make one great.

"The Bootleg" by The Starkiller
@demonoid

SAMPLE.VOB from Usenet is included. You might want to check it out before downloading the rest.

The included Mono Guide is not the newest version hosted at russs15's site (see link above.)
Perhaps you'd like to mirror russs15's site before burning ?

Thanks to The Starkiller for the original post !

Thanks for the upload! It's actually better than I thought it would be. Were I not in the midst of seeding a mega-pack of Batman comics, I'd be all over this. Hopefully it'll still be there when I finish up with that.

Thankyou too Darth. Quality is as I expected, but it is a must own due to both its starwars, and cinematic history.

Now if only someone could get ahold of the full rough cut .......

Thank you very, very much for posting this. Have been curious about it for some time. Quality is pretty crappy but adequet considering--the sound is actually pretty decent. Excellent to have this widely available finally.

Hi everyone!

Would dearly love to see this but my internet service provider (Tiscali) is pretty useless when it comes to reliable peer-to peer connections.

Would any kind soul be willing to send me a DVD of this? I will gladly pay for materials and postage. I live in the UK. Please PM me if you can help.

Many thanks!!

Is there any way to get my hands on a copy, or just download a copy?
