I thought not. It’s not a story the filmmakers would tell you…

It’s how she became Ahsoka Tano.

The makeup department is a pathway to many characters that some consider to look… unnatural.

The process of Rosario evolving into Ahsoka are gone by steps:

  1. Rosario puts her hair up and puts the wig cap on but her ponytail is not covered.
  2. The artists apply white latex under Rosario’s eyes.
  3. The artists then put the white dome to cover Rosario’s ponytail.
  4. Brian then applies the rubbery piece onto her eyebrows and hair strands.
  5. Rosario’s face and neck are then painted orange.
  6. The buds are then placed into her ears.
  7. The artists place the plastic mask onto Rosario’s face so that the white tatoos can be airbrushed.
  8. The plastic mask is removed and the headpiece is then placed onto Rosario’s head.
  9. Her arms, hands, and rear were then painted orange.
  10. Rosario then puts on the blue contact lenses and her evolution is finished.

Have you ever read the process of Rosario turning into Ahsoka Tano?

No? I thought not. It’s not a process the moderators would tell you

Let me continue: Rosario Dawson was an actor so similar in facial structure and build to Ahsoka Tano that she could play her in the Mandalorian.

Ironic. She could play a Star Wars character, but not herself.

And by “REAR”, I mean the back shoulders.

I’ve posted some of these on the art thread already, but - pencil-drawn posters for The Mandalorian season 2 by Greg Bain.

These are reminiscent to me of Drew Struzan’s special edition posters

I wonder what the Ahsoka vs. Magistrate, Grogu’s origin to Djarin, and Ahsoka giving the spear to Djarin would look like without the editing? There might be alternate takes on those scenes.

It’s common practice for film-makers to do ‘master takes’ where the first thing they do is run through the entire scene in a wider camera shot before doing all the closer ones - means the sequence isn’t necessarily set in stone before filming, and it can be switched up and played around with in the editing room. I wouldn’t be surprised if there were master takes of the fight scene as taken from that side-on camera position across the water (although I’m sure the actors would get tired), of the campfire scene from the wide shot facing Ahsoka, and of the spear-handover scene from the side-on shot of the two in frame together.

However, we’d be lucky if we get to see whole deleted scenes before a physical media release of the show, so I don’t think any ‘master shots’ will ever see the light of day.

There is for ROTJ’s Yoda death scene.

If there is a gag reel for the Mandalorian Season 2, it would be very hilarious.

I want to watch that last one XD

Jeremy Bulloch remembered in the end credits of The Mandalorian
https://www.fanthatracks.com/news/jeremy-bulloch-remembered-in-the-end-credits-of-the-mandalorian/

“Passing away the day before the arrival of the last chapter of season 2 of The Mandalorian, there simply wasn’t the time to add any kind of memorial message to the episode, but thankfully that has been rectified, and Jeremy has now been remembered in the end credits of that final episode.”
