L8wrtr’s Star Wars Prequels
Clone Wars
Rebels
OT Despecialized
Force Awakens Restructured
And Last Jedi
I really can’t consider Rise of Skywalker Canon right now. I just can’t. Maybe some day but not now. Sorry JJ.

Maybe, just an idea popped into my head.
Guess I better try again.
Anything R2 projects onscreen is canon, but nothing else.
I can get behind that.
Ok, so my personal canon has changed. Now it’s my own fan-edits for episodes 1-6, the Clone Wars series (except for any Jar Jar as Jar Jar has a completely new voice and personality in my TPM fan-edit), Rebels, Rogue One, and Marvel Darth Vader comics.
The sequels are not a part of my canon.

This, except that it’s Hal’s Prequels for me. TROS is an insult.
You probably don’t recognize me because of the red arm.
Episode 9 Rewrite, The Starlight Project (Released!) and ANH Technicolor Project (Released!)
Most of the time I only watch the OT, but when I want to watch more, I prefer to just watch the movies where Luke is alive:
It starts with Luke’s conception and ends with Luke’s death, and you don’t have to watch any of the worst movies in the series.
My preferred Skywalker Saga experience:
I II III IV V VI VII VIII IX
^ That’s really sensible.
That’s it. If I want the prequels, I’ll play Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga (still fun, BTW) or watch the Auralnauts versions.
With the sequels, I like to just see TLJ as the distant, possibly “elseworlds” finale. Maybe it happened, maybe it didn’t, IDK.
I can only include things I’ve actually read.
Which Han Solo trilogy there were like 3 of them.
Brian Daley’s trilogy aka The Han Solo Adventures trilogy
Ann Crispin’s trilogy The Han Solo Trilogy
And Roger Macbride Allen’s trilogy. The Correllian Trilogy
The Crispin one
The Corellian Trilogy can hardly be considered a Han-centric trilogy, anyway, as the plot doesn’t focus on him.
Having just finished re-reading Splinter, I’m going to have to strike it from my personal canon. It doesn’t fit into a post-ESB world.
I’m planning to re-read the Solo trilogy next, though, to see whether it or the film wins out.
I’m still bitter the novelization of Solo wasn’t released closer to the film’s debut, as I had hoped to read that first, able to just picture Harrison Ford in my mind’s eye and pretend it’s any old EU novel before seeing the movie.

Eye see what you did there.

I honestly just subscribe to the current Disney/Story Group canon. I’ve at least enjoyed, if not loved the new movies and shows and I really dig what I’ve read of the comics. I still need to explore the novels.
I actually don’t miss a whole lot of the Legends continuity. Most of what I read from it didn’t really feel like Star Wars to me.
I’ve never been into fan edits personally, especially since I adore the Prequels as they are.
That’s a lot!

“Heroes come in all sizes, and you don’t have to be a giant hero. You can be a very small hero. It’s just as important to understand that accepting self-responsibility for the things you do, having good manners, caring about other people - these are heroic acts. Everybody has the choice of being a hero or not being a hero every day of their lives.” - George Lucas
It’s been almost a year since I last considered my personal canon. In that time, I tried being a SW '77 purist, but that didn’t work out for me. I then tried smothering my vestigial love for all things Star Wars and any personal canon with it, but that didn’t work out, either. Since then, my love and hatred for Star Wars has reached equilibrium, and now I believe I’ve settled upon a definitive personal canon.
This isn’t a canon of compatible works all forming a single, cohesive universe. This is a canon of dissimilar, often incompatible stories which I happen to enjoy, pure and simple.
- Tales of the Jedi
- TCW: “Overlords”
- TCW: “Altar of Mortis”
- TCW: “Ghosts of Mortis”
- Star Wars (theatrical version)
- The Star Wars radio drama
- The Empire Strikes Back (theatrical version)
- The original Marvel SW comic (#1-80)
- The Archie Goodwin/Al Williamson SW comic strip
- The Alan Moore SW comics
- Dark Forces: Soldier for the Empire
- Dark Forces: Rebel Agent
- Dark Forces: Jedi Knight
- Mara Jade: By the Emperor’s Hand
- Heir to the Empire
- Dark Force Rising
- The Last Command
- Dark Empire
- I, Jedi
- Ambush at Corellia
- Assault at Selonia
- Showdown at Centerpoint
- Specter of the Past
- Vision of the Future
Updating to add “George R. Binks” and the Power Converters Robot Chicken skit.

Ah yes, the two most essential elements of the Star Wars saga.
My preferred Skywalker Saga experience:
I II III IV V VI VII VIII IX
The Original Unaltered Trilogy, followed by all of the EU, the two Clone Warses, the new canon cut of ROTS, with Rebels and Rouge One as Imperial and Rebel propaganda respectively. Finally got the Mandolarion sans the latest episode as what happens alongside Luke and co’s adventures.
I’m just a simple man trying to make my way in the universe.
Star Wars has 3 eras: The eras are 1977-1983(pre Expanded Universe), (1983-2014) expanded universe, or (2014- now) Disney-bought version. Each are valid.

Ah yes, the two most essential elements of the Star Wars saga.
Two classics revolving around lust, contempt, and despair. If that isn’t quintessential Star Wars, I don’t know what is.
My personal Canon consists of everything from the old Legends universe that was published between 1991 and 2014 and that was officially labeled as Canon back in the day, except for TCW, The Force Unleashed II, the Dark Empire Trilogy, and everything post-NJO.
