I enjoyed Sausage Party for what it was up until the giant orgy at the end.

Sausage Party.
What a supreme waste.
I made the mistake of watching it with family.

You probably don’t recognize me because of the red arm.

Sausage Party.
What a supreme waste.
I made the mistake of watching it with family.
Just to clarify, I wasn’t tricked into thinking it was a children’s movie, I knew full well it was going to be a vulgar Seth Rogen comedy, I just didn’t expect the massive food orgy at the end.
I also wish I’d never seen Not Another Teen Movie. Not once, and certainly not twice. I liked having respect for Mr. T.
I enjoyed Sausage Party for what it was especially the giant orgy at the end.

King Arthur: Legend of the Sword (2017)
A mess and waste of a film that actually had a quality premise and a decent cast.
Directed by Guy Ritchie - who tried, for whatever reason, to being some ‘Snatch’ and ‘Lock Stock’ to this film - it did not work.
Absolutely the worst 2017 release I’ve seen thus far, and I saw Alien Covenant.

What?
I surprisingly enjoyed King Arthur actually. Expectations were low though, and yeah the Guy Ritchie of it all didn’t really work.
Probably not even in the bottom ten of movies I’ve seen this year (Movie Pass is a hell of a drug).

You found nothing to like in a single Alien movie other than the original?
I liked a lot of Aliens, but it kind of detracted from the original, and I don’t think much would have been lost if it were never made. The others, I found very little to enjoy.
I wish I never had to sit through any of the Alien sequels/prequels.
Oh come on.
Until visiting this site, I didn’t know that there was a single person on earth that disliked Aliens. I’m still considering the possibility that everyone who claims to dislike Aliens is actually lying.
The Person in Question
I liked a lot of Aliens, but it kind of detracted from the original, and I don’t think much would have been lost if it were never made.
Does this really matter, though? I’ve never understood the thought process behind disliking the very existence of a movie. If you like a lot of the movie, why does it matter (and why should you let it) if it detracts from the original?
EDIT: I guess I should add the Alien to my list of movies that I enjoy but don’t understand why they’re so unbelievably fantastic. It has great stuff in it, but at its core it’s basically just a bunch of characters constantly splitting up until they’re all dead. Plot-wise, Aliens is superior in my opinion.
The Person in Question
I agree with pretty much all of that.
I think Alien is very good but I also think it’s a touch overrated. I also think Alien 3 is underrated (especially the superior Assembly Cut) and Prometheus is underrated (especially Agent 9’s fanedit). Have not seen Covenant yet, and Resurrection is silly nonsense (although it has a few cool things going for it).
I don’t count any of the AvP movies because I just can’t possibly care.
To bring it all back to the beginning, I guess I can understand not liking Aliens although it still seems odd to me…but to say you wish you could unsee it makes no sense to me at all.
Ghostbusters 2.
I was only 9, but still…
Is that from Gods & Monsters? Been meaning to watch that.
Well, get on it! It’s good.
I’m sad that Guy Richie makes such stupid movies now. Snatch is an all time favorite and if you haven’t seen it, you should.

Yeah I also don’t like Aliens, but I would never want to unsee it.

I think Handman is just in the wrong thread.

Doesn’t load for me either. But since it’s something you wish you could unsee, maybe it’s a blessing in disguise?
That’s weird, I’ve refreshed my cache on two different computers and I can see it on both. How about this:

I still remember the easter eggs on the DVD release; awesome film that never gets old.
I like Aliens.
Also, re: Guy Ritchie, I like The Man from UNCLE and whichever of his two Sherlock Holmes movies I saw. King Arthur looked bad though so I avoided it.
Now for the real reasons I’m in this thread:
Suicide Squad
Avatar
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
Triumph des Willens
The 10-or-so minutes I watched of Sing
The Secret Life of Pets
and, on a better note:
Star Wars, so that I could see it again for the first time.
.
Sing and Secret Life of Pets were both better than I expected - I wouldn’t ever watch them on my own but they were pleasant enough to watch with my daughters. Decent amount of laughs actually.
I still enjoy Avatar, I don’t care what anyone says.
