Even to Vader in the opening scene about his mission to capture Luke ?

Guys, he doesn’t even talk in this movie.

Boba Fett’s lines in ROTJ are precisely:
“Ugh. What the? Argh. Ugh. Argh.”
I may be mistaken, but perhaps all “Boba Fett accent” debates should be moved to the Episode V thread. Or (since Ady’s already made his editorial decision) to another fan edit thread entirely.
Wanted to let Ady know I just made a small $50 contribution for Revisited that I hope can be made useful 😃 More will be on the way next month when I am able!
Good man! Suggestions are great but what Ady really needs to make this a reality is donations. I really hope everyone can chuck a little something in the pot. If you’ve got paypal it’s literally 30 seconds of your time, be awesome and follow this link… https://swrevisited.wordpress.com/
I’ve donated some already, though sadly the Canadian dollar doesn’t convert well to the British pound.
The PT should have been made to match the OT and the OT shouldn’t be altered to match that crap. That crap should be altered to match the OT.

The only thing I can think of that was switched in Revisited to match the PT was the Death Star Plans- and I liked that enhancement a lot. Plus that is something Adywan said he’s changing back anyway.

Not only the PT but the Disney too.
Except the obvious improvements. Like the Death Star plans.

I was a big fan of the work done on ANH:R and ESB:R (except for reverting Bobbas voice, and I will fight to the death over that 😄)One could make the argument that Boba wanted to form his own persona, and not live in the shadow of the clones that were in his “father”'s image, so he adopted a different voice.
That would work if not for the fact he uses his own voice in TCW.
Reverting Boba’s voice to the new version wouldn’t be that hard to do if you want to “personalize” your own ESB:R (both interpretations are good but the original one is far more sinister).
Since Ady is no longer willing to do PT:R I guess we won’t see Temuera Morrison’s face when Boba is seducing the cute dancers.A) Accents being genetically determined is silly.
But yeah better Fett voice is here to stay so if you want to change it back do your own versions.
It’s not genetically determined though, he uses Logans voice in AoTC and TCW and sounds similar to Morrison (because it was him) when he ages in the same way Rex sounds different when younger (Baker isn’t very good to start with, affecting an Australian accent in TCW) but sounds far more like Morrison by Rebels. None of those are American accents.
I’m just a massive fan of how Morrison sounds (I played Republic Commando) but I don’t feel like making a custom version of TESB:R for the simple reason the recording of the lines isn’t very good in the SE.
I guess I was unclear originally, I meant ‘I prefer Bobba having a Kiwi accent over a generic cowboy one’ rather than ‘I prefer the takes of the dialogue used in the SEs over the original’.
Australian?! Oh, phew - then you bring up Kiwi accent on Logan lol. If you want an ex-pat Kiwi speaking an Australian accent (and I don’t mean Russell Crowe), look no further than Manu Bennett.

It also begs to reason why Vader would even scream over his mechanical arm getting severed. Maybe there were nerves connected during Vader’s suit construction or something?

I donated £50 myself. Also noticed a monthly option which I’m also considering… 😉

I am sure the robot parts are connect to nerves. When Luke gets his mechanical hand he showed reactions to getting poked.

You know what? Referring to the new movies as “Disney’s Star Wars” is like calling the new Mummy movie as “Comcast’s The Mummy.” Lucasfilm is owned by Disney in the same way that Universal is owned by Comcast.

I for one will now only refer to “Comcast’s The Mummy” as “Comcast’s The Mummy”.

3PO feels pain when he’s banged around, burned, ect. And the droids in the stupid torture scene are all screaming in pain. If they feel is somehow, I’m sure Vader does too.

It’s a confused issue for sure. Luke’s prosthetic hand has synthetic nerve endings, but this is presented in contrast to Vader’s robotic suit, which is ‘more machine than man’. If he does indeed have feeling in his robotic limbs, it would humanize him.
You probably don’t recognize me because of the red arm.

Even if it didn’t hurt I would probably still scream in surprise at the end of my arm being hacked off.
Meh. If 3PO feels pain when R2 burns him, if Luke feels pain when his new hand is needled by the medic, if the robots feel pain when their arms are ripped off and feet are burned, I’d say Vader felt it when his hand got the chop.

It might seem “odd” that he would not react to having a body part chopped off like that to the audience. Also, as mentioned, we see that other machines/droids react to getting hit, cut, chopped, disintrigated … it would be consistent to keep it as is.
“Because you are a PalpaWalker?”
I think greater humanization of Vader is warranted at that point in the story, regardless of what Obi-wan believed.

I think there isn’t really supposed to be much distinction between Luke’s and Vader’s mechanical limbs. Heck, Luke looks at his gloves hand in response to seeing his dad’s chopped off and recognizes the similarities. I don’t think Vader’s mechanical limbs were supposed dehumanize him by removing neurological sensation, but rather by implying he lacks human compassion.
Remember, he was injured when Luke slashed his shoulder in Empire.
Hmm I’m reading all this and all I can hear is Porkins saying, “stay on (topic), stay on (topic)” :p

Regarding Shield Generator:
I’m okay with the idea of adding a Rogue One shield gate device on the moon of Endor if Ady wants to go through the trouble of adding one.
As to the DSII - NO. We should not see any blue glow around the Death Star at all. I’m for seeing it after Lando orders the fleet to pull up and a couple fighters do not make it. But it should be invisible until a ship hits it. Remember - DSII is actually a TRAP set by the Emperor. It is meant to look unfinished and relatively unprotected. The shield generator while functional - is also part of Emp’s plot. The Rebels were fed intel from Emp himself, and everything about the attack at Endor was a trap laid for the purpose of wiping out the Alliance in total, both ground and space forces. The dire consequences of that fact were lost due to the overuse of cuteness and laughs. So adding a shield gate and showing a forcefield around Endor is not that necessary in terms of strategy. It is meant to look vulnerable so as to goad the Alliance to attack it. Emp actually being there himself assures that the bait is taken. Everything about DSII and Endor is a trap.
Of course Admiral Akbar says it best.
