Did some translation work.

There’s nothing wrong R2, I’m just setting a new course.

(Untranslated beeps)

We’re not going to regroup with the others. We’re going to the Dagobah System.

(Untranslated beeps)

Yes, R2?

That’s all right. I’d like to keep it on manual control for a while.

(Untranslated beeps)

Ha!

Like it… I was hoping you were going to sneak the extra shot of the translator in when they crash on Dagobah. I can’t remember off the top of my head what the exchange was but Weeoo woo Weeooo woo = Are you alright? just in case you were unsure of the acurate translation…

😃

Script says this.

LUKE
Yeah, I’m all right… You still in one piece?
(CLOSE-UP Artoo beeps affirmative.
Good. Come on, I think we’re sinking.
Luke pulls a switch and his canopy pops open.

Not sure if the audio is available for it though? But cool none the less.

Also please start saying “delete.” I’m guessing English is not your first language, so I’m not making fun of you or anything, it’s just bothering my OCD.

Thanks Ady
Amazing work as I always knew it would be

Is there a COMPLETE list of changes and/or new comparison screenshots? I know there’s a list on the first page but it’s outdated, correct?

Isn’t it time to step back from nit-picking and bandying semantics regarding a few missed shots? Ady has spent over 8 years of his life doing this project with more downs than ups.

Over the years I have seen some terrible statements by trolls on here aimed at Ady, and it has to stop now.

Give him time to rest after this project, instead of tearing it apart with silly quips and forensic-like photographs showing your interpretations of what should and shouldn’t be.

If Ady decides to go back and revise a few shots that are needed he will do that in his own time.

Just enjoy the movie and all of his work for what it truly is: astounding!

I have been dipping in and out of the forum for many years now, I used to be a regular on here but started to hate coming to the forum because of the bullying and trolling, and a week or so into the release of TESBR the trolling aimed at Ady and his work is back full-force.

Isn’t there supposed to be moderators on here now that stop that kind of stuff?

Hey benduwan, I admire you are trying hard to help find any more remaining errors, but really it’s way too late in the game for pointing those sort of things out now. Also, almost all of those are either ones that are impossible to fix without creating other/more issues (so in these cases it’s simply best to leave it alone) or, as Ady already said, aren’t even an issue.

But, we will see you for the ROTJ:R suggestions thread when that comes around 😃

I’ve seen ESB:R multiple times now and I couldn’t be happier with everything Ady has managed to do for it - the many fixes and various enhancements he was able to pull off to an already amazing film are just outstanding. There are of course still only a couple small things I would’ve loved seeing getting fixed/updated (mainly what oh_riginal already said [the missing shadows from the Snowspeeder when it’s circling the AT-AT] and the two Bogwings at 1:00:33 could have benefitted from a CG makeover just like the ones earlier when Luke crashes his X-Wing), but nonetheless, this is still a work of wonder and will be cherished by so many for always. I can’t think of anything else to add without starting to echo (base?) too much of what has already been said by others 😉 I do have Harmy’s highly respectable Despecialized editions and even my “faces” VHSs for that nastolgic craving, but like for many others here, these Revisited edits will be my preferred way of watching them 😄

It’s one annoying person. Please don’t throw our whole forum under the bus.

But that is how it starts. One turns into two and two turns into four etcetera. Moderators should be deleting and blocking the trolls not encouraging it by doing absolutely nothing until it is too late.

No.

Well, sort of. Bullies and trolls are one thing. But if people have constructive criticism, heck if they just don’t like what they’ve watched, well that’s the risk you take in creating something and releasing it to the public. You have to be ready for all comments, even if some are less than glowing praise. I’m sure adywan can handle a few negative comments after years of handling lots of negative comments.

That’s just what I told my ex-wife, and we’re divorced now.

Harry Potter Revisited
Game of Thrones Film Edits

I find that picture quite interesting. It does match the x-wing we see later after it had repairs. I wonder if it is the same length as any shot in exact frames when Luke fly’s towards Bespin?

This will often give you the swap and position… Just saying. I actually find stuff like that really interesting. I don’t care if it’s in a fan edit or not. It’s just interesting…

After a second viewing I now realise what bothered me about the Emperor scene. When viewed side-on the Emperor looks like he is mostly a single still frame, animated by the static and jitter of the poor signal. It’s most apparent in the final shot where he appears frozen with his mouth open for a few seconds before closing it towards the end.

They told me they’d fixed it!

It’s still a great improvement over the blu-ray version where they re-shot Ian McDiarmid looking nothing like the ROTJ Emperor who apears only months later in ‘Retun’.

Most definitely! Ian McDiarmid looked like he had just walked off the set of Revenge of the Sith. Funny that.
