STAR WARS IV SPECIAL ADDITION that should have been... XXTELECINE 7XX Anouncment

migrating details of this project…

CommandBen, As you know I already did a Beta of ROTJ, I do not have any immediate plans to do anything further because of a lack of time in my personal life.

With that said, there are a few additional things l would like to update time permitting but my main focus is trying to improve SW ep IV. This one is one of the hardest ones to work on and I already privately spoke with ADYWAN (PM) offering my assistance with his HD version of revisited. He agreed but he said it will be some time before he can get around to recreating his original vision of IV revised.

Right now I am working on the basics of episode IV, (Vader chest plate lights) (mask for Vader’s eyes) Laser replacement, light saber replacement ect. Plus the same type of work like I did on EP V, and VI…

Also some of the original Laser blast that were drawn in by team George Lucas were poorly done as they lacked proper perspective. This of coarse was 1978 so it was understandable at the time, so I am frame by frame “REPLACING” not re-scoping those effects. This is a detailed and very time consuming process because it involves cloning video information from other film frames for the removal process. Once done they will be re-animated and will reflect VFX for a more modern 2015 Star Wars universe.

I am also attempting the same process for some of Luke’s Light saber sequences (remove the original) replace with the new. Some shots are simply near impossible to do this, others are not.

So I plan on releasing a beta hopefully before this Christmas with the above changes, and then next year a more detailed edit, with sound and audio changes. (replacing the audio of the laser blasts and replacing the audio effects with the same sound type, but more dynamic range. Most of which I am going to source from the vast existing SW sound library’s out there. (5.1 mix)

There will be welcomed changes like Han shooting first ect, and the deletion of the Jabba scene. But over all my focus will be to just concentrate on the above mentioned effects, it will be much more conservative than all the changes that ANDWAN did with his revisited release.

Thanks for the interest, I appreciate the support, I will upload a clip soon of a finished sequence, hopefully if will spark some interest in this project

I Looking for sampled AUDIO that is not in the MP3 format, I am looking for uncompressed PCM or FLAC for SW blaster sounds, impact sound effects, and ship engine sounds particularly from the prequels to help incorp into to my FAN FIX of SW IV. Also looking for a tool that can extract *.ogg audio particularly from the pc video game the force unleashed. I would like to convert these files to WAV.

I am also looking for sampled light saber sounds that are sampled and mixed with the LFE track (5.1 mix) Note I could do this myself but I am running out of time for a Christmas release for my project.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW

Different voice tone, and Mask, and Chest plate for that matter… Only thing worth keeping consistent is the tint of Vader’s eyes. Almost impossible to fix the other stuff…

But why try to “fix” any of it? So his suit changes between films. It doesn’t break continuity for Vader to get upgrades.

Just the red eyes in IV and in Rebels. If you look at at the movies from a trilogy point of view, there is a continuity irritation with some fans. If you just Watched Star Wars IV and never saw the other ones, well then there are no issues.

STAR WARS: EP IV 2004 REVISITED ADYWAN *1080p HD VERSION NOW IN PRODUCTION
Time

I know some like the red eyes, but it is very clear to me that it was a Costume error and since EP III Vader did not have the tinted red eyes from the outside, its worth noting that this was something that Lucas wanted changed. When he did EP V. I understand that Vader’s eyes HUD is red from his point of view, but I believe Lucas did not want this to be noticeable from the outside of his mask.

The Force Awakens Trailer - NSP Edition
Time

Yes but consider this… Most Trailers out there for any movie, often Mislead viewers to how the story from a movie plays out in general… If I were to make a trailer it would be from a cutup from one of my own fan edits to promote it. Just seeing some of the VFX work in the final FA trailer I plan on making changes to some of the work done when this movie someday hits the BLU-RAY format.

If you wanted to change the trailer I would wait until the movie comes out first. To get a better understanding of the movie itself from a plot perspective. Just my 3 cents. :}-----

Clone Wars - Ahsoka Tano: White SABER in Rebels Season 2:? Suggestions and thoughts?
Time

Filoni has gotten a lot of things wrong lately with rebels. My son is a big fan of the clone wars series and the first thing he said to me is dad, "why are the sabers so thin and pointey? He also mentioned that the storm trooper lasers looked lame compared to the clone wars seasons. I would agree.

Season 2 rebels episode 2 miffed me the most when captain Rex fired his blaster and it was a bright blue laser with a clearly defined white core to it. (As if we were back to the clone wars). Then it was back to the boring red lasers again with the storm troopers. Not only are the lasers flat and boring, but they do not properly reflect environmental light as they did in the clone wars.

I am not going to buy Filoni's bullshit that "the technology was simply lost over the years (in the star wars universe). It's more of the lack of vfx from the original trilogy at the time. And Filoni is trying to recreate a look from dated special effects technology. (80's star wars ect). Over All SW Rebels is not doing as well in regards to TV ratings that the clone wars did. One could argue that the art direction was a big part of this...

Take a look at Star Wars battlefront and the stormtroopers lasers look as they did from the clone wars.

My point of all this is that this is an intentional Filoni "baloney" decision. One that never would have been approved if he was back still in the skywalker ranch. George Lucus would not have approved of that decision as he was heavily policed in the Art direction of the clone wars.

Now since George sold his sole to Disney we will be looking at a lot of questionable art directions any future Star Wars related content.

I am willing to fix the light sabers for rebels, but I do not have enough time to fix the lasers. For my son well... He is going to have to work on his suspension of disbelief...

STAR WARS VII - XXTELECINE7XX (Released)
Time

Well it looks like I will busy next year… Does this look like a Saber from the prequels or did they go back to 1981 and do everything by hand??

I was concerned about the approach they would take with this… THIS is clearly not George’s final light-saber vision. Otherwise he would have made his A-Skywalker saber look like it did in 81 for EP II and III.

I know what i am posting might be controversial but hey that is why this site exists… :}

I am torn how to approach this. I do not like the color white, and I need to dig deep into research about what the color "white means."

Many claim the color white means the Jedi has no affiliation with the Sith or Jedi. While when I was younger I thought the COLOR purple was for that meaning... Characters like MARA JADE.

Lightsaber colours have no inherent meanings. Nuff said.

So a Jedi can have Red Sabers and a Sith can have blue now...lol

Clone Wars - Ahsoka Tano: White SABER in Rebels Season 2:? Suggestions and thoughts?
Time

Folks as I finish up Rebels Season 1, I already thinking of season 2. There are verified sources that Ahsoka will use "white" light sabers in season 2.

This by far from what I have been reading is very controversial in the SW community and I would like your thoughts on the matter.

A lot of people, including my self think this was a decision based on the original Star Wars Conceptual art, that the Director of Rebels adopted from the photo below.

When Season 2 releases on Blu-Ray, as usual I plan on rescoping the (THIN) sabers. But I am not sure how to handle the color for Ashoka's Sabers. They were green in the clone wars. I was planning on restoring that color, but this is something I am looking for guidance on from all the best Star Wars fans in the world here at Original-trilogy.com Should it be Purple? Not quite sure what to do here.

ANY IDEAS???

Star Wars Sound Effects Archive - A collection of SW sounds for use in Fan Edits (* unfinished project *)
Time

I played the BattleFront Beta, I must admit the Sound Effects sound great, I plan on buying the game for my xbox one, and playing the game while recording the audio with a Digital 5.1 audio capture. I should be able to easily isolate sound effects... The storm trooper standard blaster rifle reworked sound has the "punch" that I am looking for for my SW EP IV release....

Those who do no know, I am also working on Star Wars IV (Special Edition: that should have been..)

Here is a link with some details of this effort...
