I realized I liked it when they killed of that major character and I thought “Yeah. That works” If a prequel quality film had tried it, I would have walked out.

I was thinking what if the first film was Episode 0 but that wouldn’t work for two reasons. First being roman numerals don’t have a zero, and second, it would be detrimental to marketing purposes. The second film would be called “Episode 1”, third film “Episode 2” and so on.

Any ideas?

I’d first make a film called The Republic: A Star Wars Story and move to Episode I after that.

And I don’t know why, but the idea of roman numerals not having a zero makes me laugh.

I remember that Harrison Ford recently said Han was stupid.  I don't think of the character as stupid, but I think Ford may have played him as being stupid in some scenes.  Does this change the way we need to watch the movies?

Also just finished Irish Jabba, alternate Tarkin and extended/re-sequenced escape from Mos Eisley. Hi Ho Hi Ho off to the Death Star this edit finally goes!

This is as far as V1 got. V2 is already 10 minutes longer than the theatrical cut with the 2nd half still to edit.
