STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW
Time

It has been months since I've been here. Glad to see it is still filled with entertaining squabbling.

It seem to me that Ady's edits are more of making the Special Editions the way they should have been done in the first place. Adding the name Boba Fett to ESB may work better in a different fan edit, imo.

Is it just me, or do most people who call Superman a bland/overpowered/dick/etc. superhero happen to be people who

1. have read few to any of the comics?

2. have read only the Silver & Bronze Age comics?

3. have read only The Dark Knight Returns?

4. only know the character from the Chris Reeve movies and/or silly Saturday morning cartoons from the 60's & 70's?

Why the rant, DE?

I'm having another go at this project. I'm coming up to the half/third mark and have just done the scene in Obi Wan's home. I've recut the sequence in the original aka Adywan's order. I've cut it slightly differently to Adywan's version in a few shots and added a small deleted shot of Luke at the end...

^ Bare in mind that although the video is finished, the audio is just temporary and I will be replacing all the music (e.g. the new music won't step all over Luke's new final line).

What happened to the earlier crawl?

Also, the early scripts had the title card read "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away an incredible adventure took place..."

And if I may ask, how much are you relying on the 4th and revised 4th draft for your work with regards to this? I know both Deleted Magic and Star Wars Begins relied heavily on them.

Great project, btw. I can't wait to see your finished version.

If they could make Jeff Bridges younger for Tron Legacy, aging Ewan to Alec Guinness' age in Episode IV ought not to be a problem. It might even be possible to resurrect Alec the way Marlon Brando was brought back for Superman Returns.

The young Jeff Bridges looked weird in Tron Legacy. Not bad, just not quite right.

However, after watching the work that was done with Chris Evans in Captain America, I think they could make anything work.
