Jaws Sequels - HD Preservation (First Post w/ Updates) (Released)
Time

YES, finally it’s happening I knew it would sooner or later and some sites in other regions recently had them listed as pre orders so I knew a US release wasn’t far behind, honestly I didn’t expect it to be so soon after the other sites, the only thing that could make it better is if all the deleted scenes from Jaws 2 are included as well as the ones from the revenge tv cut, but it only says theatrical trailer for the revenge and for 2 it looks like they just brought over the special features from the dvd, which means that all the deleted scenes from the dvd will probably only be included and that sucks because their are more deleted scenes not included on that original dvd that have been shown on tv, I really cant complain though finally getting the whole franchise on blu ray is a blessing and JAWS 3 IN 3D to boot

Preserving DTS LaserDisc tracks, specifically Jurassic Park
Time

I love the sound of this, there is a HD master of a 35mm print with DTS sourced from the laserdisc available, but sadly for me the file size if to large for my puny internet connection, thanks for starting this topic though because it reminded me that I should pick up the Laserdisc, on that note is their a difference between the multiple Laserdisc versions available, I know theirs 2 letterboxed versions (one box set, and one in a jacket with stars bordering it) then a few that say widescreen and the DTS one witch I cant find on ebay at all also their is a 2000 DVD version that says DTS surround sound is that mix the same as the laserdisc also a lost world DTS DVD is also available

Help: looking for... The Phantom Re-Edit 1.2 (AKA The New York Version)
Time

For as long as I’ve known about the world of fanedits one edit has been on my most wanted list, The Phantom Re-Edit Magnoliafan over on the ifdb remastered it back in 2009 this is the version I am after

Here’s the summary from the ifdb post - https://ifdb.fanedit.org/star-wars-episode-1-the-phantom-re-edit

Right after the famous “The Phantom Edit” came out, another edit of “The Phantom Menace” surfaced, called “The Phantom Re-Edit”, also known as “The Phantom Edit 1.2″ or “The New York Version”.

It was remastered by Magnoliafan. This is a far more extensive edit of the original movie, making Jar Jar into a Jedi-like Sage, maturing up all of the Gungans and tons of minor cuts, edits and changes to pacing throughout.

Right after the famous “The Phantom Edit” came out, another edit of “The Phantom Menace” surfaced, called “The Phantom Re-Edit”, also known as “The Phantom Edit 1.2″ or “The New York Version”. This was released and distributed via VHS tape by an anonymous group. Acquiring a low generation copy was very rare.

So… Magnoliafan used one of these rare tapes as a source and REMASTERED the fanedit using DVD sources to allow for easier trading and improve the quality of trades by removing the quality loss from making Nth generation copies.

Help Me Original Trilogy members you’re my only hope

Jaws Sequels - HD Preservation (First Post w/ Updates) (Released)
Time

As a huge Jaws fan I have to commend you for doing this, I am one of those people that have been waiting for the rest of the movies on Blu Ray but I sort of gave up on Jaws 3D and The Revenge ever having a release as for Jaws 2 I feel like it may come at some point, good luck they really do look good in HD I’ve watched them many times on AMC and IFC I also have some HD rips somewhere, also do you have the extended version of Jaws 2 with all the deleted scenes added back in that was on TBS/USA back in the day I’ve been looking for that for years
