Waterworld [spoRv] (Released)
Time

There aren't any features - aside from the extended cut, Universal have treated this film with surprising (or perhaps not so surprising) disdain through its digital life.

I'd be interested to know if the trailer on the Blu-ray is HD (or even 16:9) - my HD-DVD copy has nothing at all.

there is no hd trailer for this movie.

as for the extended cut, i think i have the dvd somewhere around. if it's needed for the project, let me know.

a little update on the so called dcp release

it's all a lie. this is a release from 2011 and seams not been shared outside a certain forum until now. i compared the nfo files and they are exactly the same.

this whole dcp thing was a bit fishy to me and thanks to a certain member from the other forum, i can no longer believe this dcp source story.

this doesn't mean you should not get it. it's totally worth it. but don't believe the dcp source lie.

you can add the following titles

hard boiled, the killer, bullet in the head

german pcm mono mix

source: german uncut laserdiscs

input: 16-bit, 44.1khz, bit perfect, pcm

output: 16-bit, 44.1khz, flac

not synced, video captured as well for easier syncing
also includes english pcm on hard boiled and cantonese pcm on bullet in the head

Are the English tracks unsynced like the German, zero?

yep. it's a pure preservation, for possible future use.

Now that would be extremely hard to remove. I guess I'd need a perfect copy of that logo with a clean background to be able to do a test. Not sure it would look good anyway.

there are methods to remove such logos, in a way nobody was ever thought it would be possible. it needs a clean source, like a dvd, and then through an avisynth script it can be done. the method was originally used to get rid of hardcoded subs and then applied for logos as well.
