Maybe I'm a fanatic and a little crazy when it comes to the X0 project but I would be willing to watch ANYTHING
that has to do with the X0 project.....it really doesn't matter....it's all good...

Not to bitch, although I know it sounds that way, but I thought that we might be getting to see your work via mpeg screen grabs and not with a video camera?
Please don't take that as complaining......but I thought that was mentioned before....

In any case, thanks for all your hard work, MeBeJedi.....

Thanks wmgan, I am glad you're ok.

I sent you another PM.

Could you do me a favor? I use Nero for my burns and have made a habit of checking the box titled "verify writen data"....it compares checksum of the data on disk with the original file....could you please do something similar? I don't know what software you'll be using but if you could please check the disks after burning to make sure there are no drop out or massive errors that would be wonderful......I know this all goes without saying, but I thought to mention it anyway just in case.....

Thanks so much for your time and effort in doing this....you've made a SW fan very happy....

Web Doc 2 does look great! I'm curious though, has the starfield been "recovered" on these shots or would that be done at the same time as the color correction? Or is the "starfield recovery" considered to be apart of the color correction process?

The reason I ask is the starfield looks dim and you can see stars blinking in and out....also the black level of the starfield doesn't look as crisp and black as the examples given in the "starfield recovery" article on the X0 website.....

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Nice all except disk 6......yoda's color looks off, and which version of yoda is that? Doesn't look like the ROTJ version to me....

Overall though these are very nice...way better than I could ever do.

What? You are not making much sense..... Most laserdiscs were "non-anamorphic"! (for the most part anyway) So I have no idea what you meant by your statment....

Time will tell if it is "much better then the laserdisc" but who cares? This is not 10 years ago, and I don't own a laserdisc player...I own a DVD player....
You know this statement, " which I'm sure 10 years ago everyone thought was amazing quality " reminds me of something....10 years ago I had bought my first PC....it was pretty sweet at that time too.....today that thing is the biggest piece of crap....
Now I ask you, if Dell tried selling 10 year old computers touting them as just as good as today's computers, selling them at today's prices, and telling us that we're lucky to have them, would anybody with half a brain buy one? No way, not on your life.....Think about that.

Fine. Come back in a decade when your paper route earns you enough money to buy a widescreen TV, and you finally notice the problem.

3000+ Posts eh? Looks like someone doesn't have a job. Probably no girlfriend neither.

Just how long are the Mods going to allow you to troll this thread? I hope not much longer.
