The prequels are in standard dvd format so they look as good as a dvd can look. About High Def and or Blu Ray releases NOT YET. thank george lucas for the hold back on the releases. When GL releases SW on blu ray. Blu Ray will probably be obsolete so we will have to wait until their released on Red Ray.

Love the ion cannon except the arcing that is visable in the ion blast....to me it makes much more sense that the arcing would occur once the blast hits something metal...however you know me whatever you come up with for the final is going to be fine....

No actually the video isn't the point at all. I revamped the audio. The video is just there so you can tell what scene it is. I'm not concerned about sync. Well yeah that was just hastily thrown together for the preview, just to show what I'm doing. I think the reason it's jarring is because of the difference in background ambience (which I will fix). The echoes wouldn't be the problem, because the echoes are in the other channels and I only cut things from the center channel. (eq to all channels though)
I will spend much more time with blending it in when I make the final version.
But other than that did everything sound good?
It would be interesting to hear the final version...
Also Bingowings has a good point. Maybe you could start your own thread about this mix?

Right now I might as well come out and say that I probably won't ever have the time or inclination to do Jedi. I just don't have the time or passion anymore for working on these kinds of projects. I mainly check in here now just to keep up on Ady's and Puggo's projects. Nothing else really holds my interest anymore.
Can't say I blame you for your feelings, but you've got to know that hundreds of people LOVED your releases....maybe one day you'll get the passion again....let's hope.

you see, how this tv works is the same way a standard hd tv works when using the "full" function on the ratio control. it senses the black bar areas and zooms & crops the image to fit the screen. so movies that have a different ratio to the 21:9 ratio of the TV will look odd and have the incorrect aspect ratio. watching a movie that has a 16:9 ratio becomes squashed or you have to change the settings to zoom and then the image is cropped to shit and just forget even attempting to watch anything that is 4:3. So pretty much useless for watching Tv channels
I was asked to leave the stand at the tech show because the guy who was demonstrating it didn't like the way i managed to get him to show just how crap this idea and the TV was.
Sounds perfect for Negetive1....you know for someone who thinks Blu-ray is a dead format and DVD never took off.
Maybe he can watch his Laserdiscs on it and think he's finally got the setup....
