Video standards change over time and fans doing what they can with limited resources is substantially different to a release from a multibillion dollar company with every resource at it's disposal. You're removing the context of the releases and comparing them as though they were done under the same conditions.

Oui, oui je voudrais pratiquer très beaucoup!

I'm currently using an audio program to get me to say more French. Then I'm going to do more exercises in the books I have. I'm also going to listen and repeat scenes from movies/tv shows I have with French audio. I'll also be making tumblr posts in French to get me to use it more. It's also, roughly, what I'll be doing for other languages in order to get a better command over them.

Mon français n'est pas trés bon. At least in terms of creating complicated sentences. I can understand a lot more than I can readily say. It's entirely my fault. I haven't encouraged myself enough to produce more. Ho bisogno a lavoro duro.(I need to work hard) I've basically been working on absorbing French rather than producing the sentences I need to in order to have a command over the language.

I'm taking steps in correcting this I would've implemented them sooner but I ended up getting sick. Bad horrid stomach problems... I just didn't want to mention it here until I got onto my way to recovery. Which I am now.

Sure in about a couple of weeks. See I've recently gotten better focus on my language learning goal and soon I'll be making more progress with it than I have before. Thing is I don't want to scatter my focus again. I've gotten to the point where I'm able to browse here again without loosing focus on it like I used to. Though if I were to start up a game here at this time I'd probably loose that focus I have now. So in a couple of weeks I'll have made my higher productive language learning a habit and I won't need as much focus to keep at it. So in short I'd like to just not right now.

No matter what, if the film isn't your language, you're going to lose something.

Subtitles means your eyes are going to constantly NOT be on the picture. This fundamentally changes the vieweing experience, especially for films as gorgeous as Kurosawa's.

Personally after watching lots of stuff with subs now it doesn't change the experience that much for me anymore. I can now pretty much enjoy a film/tv show subtitled pretty much like enjoying it with the audio in a recognizable language. Comes in mighty handy when someone else is sleeping in the house and you don't want to wake them. Subs only annoy me when they cover the people's faces in non-close up shots at times... It's like, why? Why you do that DVD/Blu-ray peoples!??! There's space at the bottom! Why not use it!?

Suddenly the studio would think that there's too little of Batman in the film. Script rewrites are called for and many of the Joker scenes in the movie get drastically shortened from what we know. Prince still makes songs for the film but they're different somehow due to the film itself being different. Alfred would likely get more of a part in the film too. That's my thoughts anyway, kind of doubt it'd just be roughly the same movie with just a single Joker actor throughout.

I'd say yes and no. Yes in that it introduces an incredible piece of music and it was probably the most engaging part of the movie on the big screen. No in that it fails in fridge logic terms. After a while they're just fighting to fight. This is apparent when there's a freaking wall that puts a complete halt to the action and there's no attempt to negotiate things. Regardless of the choreography and whatnot story wise that's the perfect time for the Jedi to at least try to come to terms with Maul. Zero attempt, absolutely zero. Even if it's a long shot they could've at least tried but no.

So, I only watched the "Not what you think" short. Starts out ok then goes into suck when the ship is opened... Ezra character should've died when he got shot at or got severely burned or something.

LOL Coincidentally my good news is related to sleep too. The last few days, I don't know why, my body seems to have taken any free time I had and turned it into sleep time... It's like the time I intended to browse the internet, work on my goals, watch tv all went away into the dreamworld... Well now I think I've managed to stop it and if I have I'll be able to make progress on my goals!!!

So, if I make it through the day using my free time productively it's some pretty good news! If not well then hopefully this applies to later on!

Sort of annoyed by something that I probably have no reason to be annoyed by in the first place but I can't help but be annoyed... Though it's a touchy subject to talk about. I'm not sure I can word my annoyance without it being taken the wrong way. Which also bothers me. Which then frustrates me about being bothered about being annoyed... Yeah...

Worst: Really don't know which to pick. I really haven't seen any performance from him that makes this category completely applicable aside from the obvious prequels. And this thread is predicated on exempting the prequels so... Yeah can't really choose. Any other alternative performance of his, that I've seen, sort of blurs together in terms of quality...
