"an case" should've been "a case". Anyway I'm not bashing your opinion of The Simpsons. I'm mainly asking you to express why you like it? If you can't do that, then I see no reason to think of The Simpsons as anything more than a repetitive cartoon, that's not worth my time.

Respectfully, when I presented my argument in favor of Power Rangers over the Star Wars prequels. I offered up episode clips, screencaps, a link to a full episode, written side-by-side comparisons of the dialogue, and I mentioned just how different various Power Rangers seasons are. It was an attempt to demonstrate just how uninformed a casual statement of "what bothers me is the OT duels at least had a sense of realism to them where the PT was nothing more than 2 hr long power ranger episodes" really was.

Your main arguments against Power Rangers either end with you saying "I'm sorry, I just can't see past the costumes, the graphics, etc. etc." Or the above quoted facepalm. It took me several posts to convince you to watch a single 3 minute clip.

Meanwhile, I've watched several seasons worth of "The Simpsons", event episodes, and the movie. I've also watched the majority of Power Rangers. Regardless of my opinion of either show. You can't argue that I'm stating an uninformed opinion. You, on the other hand, are vastly uninformed about Power Rangers. You're essentially like someone whose only Star Wars experience is seeing Han & Leia's "I love you"/"I know" scene, Jar Jar sticking his tongue out at dinner, and George Lucas stating "Jar Jar's the key to all this". Then writing Star Wars off as some weird romantic comedy.

All this considered, given that you could only put down Power Rangers with a facepalm. Until you put in the effort, I did defending Power Rangers, to defend The Simpsons. I declare your facepalm on this matter useless and a fail.

(Besides all this I respect your opinion on The Simpsons. I just don't share it.)

So, Chuck'll return on the 28th. Was going to be the 21st but, they wanted to delay it when they found out the theme of the upcoming episode better suited the 28th... I just didn't want to post about the delay earlier because, it's depressing that we have to wait another week for new chuck...

As far as the Star Wars is concerned it hasn't been released on Blu-ray. There was a set with 90 minute spoofs, some deleted/alternate scenes (6 discs worth of optional commentary track), some old interlaced documentaries, and some cobbled together new documentaries. Beyond that though the films themselves aren't present on the discs. False advertising. The last time the films were put on a home video format was in 2006. They weren't even presented to home video format standard at the time. Utilizing some old Laserdisc master. Which is sad. Also The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of the Sith have never been released on DVD or, Blu-ray. Their alternate and, deleted scenes have though. With optional commentary. On the subject of the commentary AFAIK they're edited together from archival stuff. For Star Wars, Empire Strikes back, and Return of the Jedi alternate scenes respectfully. So they're probably not even commenting on the deleted scenes on the discs. I don't know how such a lackluster product could be worth purchasing.... :P

Does Maul REALLY have a rivalry with Obi? They met once, never spoke, and Obi killed him. Does Obi have a rivalry with Walrus Man from the cantina, and every battle droid he ever killed?

As much as I think it's an awful idea bringing someone back from being sliced in half, left to die, falling down a huge distance into hole, no medical personnel nearby in which to help, hitting the walls of the shaft as he fell, *awkward late edit to complete post* and suffering the immense pain from the fall. I can at least see how someone could hold a grudge against someone for making them experience that.

Then again, it's kind of a big whatever for me. . . I stopped trying to get into the Clone Wars series when I would always tune into something stupid happening.

X-Men: First Class

A film that felt like it was made because, it had a story to tell. Rather then be made simply to keep the X-men license with the studio. The last two instalments to the X-Men franchise. X-3 and, X-Men origins: Wolverine respectfully. Those two felt as though they had been made simply to keep the license with the studio and, the plot suffered. In my opinion this is not so with X-Men: First Class. There's a narrative drive between the two arguable main characters. Erik and, Charles feel like real friends. Which adds to the character depth of Professor X and, Magneto in the later films chronologically. Forewarned however, some small continuity errors in respect to the earlier produced movies occur in this film. As far as I'm concerned the movie is well executed enough to overlook those errors.

I give X-Men: First Class a 9.5/10

Enjoyable film to watch.
