Are you telling her that downloading any fanedits whatsoever is illegal, no matter what form of media one owns a copy of the original work on?
Not only is this not true (it's profiting from the fanedits that is illegal), but you might as well have told her to stick it and to go away.
Good luck proving that in court.

Oh , there was a moon landing alright. I have no doubt about that. People just never saw it. What was shown on TV was just that , a show. A show being filmed on a set.
As I have already done to others in this thread, I now refer you to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sGXTF6bs1IU

SW isn't really sci-fi. SW is an action-adventure-drama that takes place in outer space.
I believe the term you're looking for is "space fantasy"?

As much as this is an advertisement and as much as it's the prequels, I think we can mostly agree that we're really glad to see this happen. If you can, eventually, get AOTC's soundtrack released, the way Williams wrote it (particularly the finale), we'd be even happier.
But gosh this is tempting.
Was the CD version different? I'm just starting to looking into the variations of the Episode 2 now and the full plan. Love the input!
As I recall, the CD version is the same as the film, with a chunk of Imperial March inserted into the finale, removing other things Williams had recorded as part of the finale, such as a big intro into Across the Stars. Something like that. The original version's never been released.

Anyone here who believes in any of this moon landing hoax hogwash, might be interested in some prime Florida property I have for sale. ;)
You're still not making an actual point, just ridiculing opposing beliefs. This is not logic.
Any thoughts on the link I posted?
Blue is often used, particularly with snow, to indicate night, or twilight.

I'm still forming my opinion on the idea, but I'd like to point out that all the articles "confirming" it point to the same article on a site you've never heard of using no quotes and a single unnammed source who "works close to the production".
I dunno why no one is paying attention to that.
How we know the moon landings happened: It was impossible to fake
Just remember, source for all this is The Vulture, and they were wrong about Snyder.

Yes, that's the name of the board.

Or that inside every Wookie is an Ewok piloting it.
Yub yub, sir.
Pretty good replacement trilogy, though.
I had forgotten about that. I guess Frink's got the top 2?
Frink vs -1
The stupidest forum feud I've ever seen?

you are aware Jekyll and Hyde are same guy, aren't you?
Now that you mention it, the show does make a lot more sense now.
Allow me to recommend you read the story, which is not overly long, by Robert Louis Stevenson.

You're basically saying we want the whole movie to look crappier so that the crappiest looking bits look better by comparison,
The less of a clash between elements, the less the viewer is drawn out of the film experience.
Yup, and the Oklahoma DVD has both available. Same story with Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.
Well this is super exciting!
I'll say that the new bits still look a little more cartoony than the original film, and the transitions (particularly the fades - I don't think Star Wars uses fades?) need a little work.
But despite those criticisms, this is super exciting. Oh man this is cool.

a car can go over a ramp and be airborne given enough speed. Doesn't make it flying
What, falling with style?

There isn't a problem at all. It's simply the fact I don't see a Podracer as something you pilot'
Then what do you call it? Driving? One of Ani's big moves is utilizing the 3rd dimension (you know, the thing w/ the ramp, dropping from above), which is surely more piloting than driving.
we never SEE Luke's ship.
Well that's not true... http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20080122204332/starwars/images/0/09/LarsGarage.jpg
EDIT: In case it's not clear, I'm not talking about the model Luke's holding.
He seems to assume that:
Frankly, I don't think there's any problem with having Luke & his dad pilot different things.... but we never see Luke's skills on Tatooine.
On the other hand, I don't know what we need to.
