That's a terrible idea.
That's a terrible idea.

SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN THIS THREAD TO ME BECAUSE I DON'T GET IT!!!!
We're discussing adopting laserdisc audio as a currency, I believe.
Nomi? Shira? Jori?
I forget, are you an Aussie?
Can I obtain more currency by running a laserdisc audio mining program?
Frequently, it's cheaper.

It looks a bit like the dish on the Rebel Blockade Runner.
And thus like the dish on McQuarrie's "Pirate Ship"?

The monkey whose eyes were matted into the shot could technically sign those photos too. ;)

Also, consider your intellectual dishonesty (i.e., changing the words of quotations) noted. When did I do that?
You didn't. My mistake. I made a typo, and when you quoted my post it included the typo and I thought you had changed the quote. Sorry about that. I'll remove that false charge and fix my typo.
It's probably better off if you just leave your own mistake where it is, so that reading this discussion is less confusing for others.
That is correct. James Early Jones could sign a photo of Darth Vader, you know.
Well I didn't think Han wouldn't get a replacement dish, but I guess they aren't all circular!
What are the chances this leads to the reconvening of the English Parliament?
That's amazing.
The ship looks great too.

According to "Wookieepedia", the X-wing was first used at the "Battle of Turkana", the year before the events of the original Star Wars movie ("1 BBY"), after stealing X-wing prototypes at the "Battle of Fresia" (also in "1 BBY"). "Wookieepedia" also says that the X-wing remained in use for over 40 years.
I don't know where any of that information actually comes from
If you check the citation on Wookieepedia, it credits the game Empire At War, but I'm positive its origin is the older game X-Wing. Either way it's EU.

I'm looking forward to stories not at all tied to 20 years of stories of very mixed quality.
Pretty sure they'll be tied to 28 years of stories of very mixed quality?
The misleading part is "Official", which I suspect was an attempt to say "This is the Official thread for discussing this, because I, some normal user, said so, not one of those other threads haha!"
I really am surprised they're having Mayhew in EP7. But apparently his surgery & recovery went really well.
Given that costs cover server maintenance, yes.
haha, yes, 2d background fighters!

Where is Kenny Baker?????? No-one has seen him on set!! How can they say they have all the original cast and yet no Kenny in R2......I have a bad feeling about this!
Do you realize how little he was involved in the prequels? I think his role in AOTC & ROTS (maybe TPM too?) was to sit in the can for one scene. One scene only.

But everyone seems to think it is bad.
I am not very familiar with that viewpoint. I liked it, and it has generally very favorable reviews.
you should probably read the book

Oh umm
The tunics are very Naboo, but Star Wars is full of tunics.
