An Oral History of the Star Wars Christmas album
Should R2 really be in the X-Wing?

Right? I absolutely don't understand why they would do this. Even the orks shouldn't have been CGI but it's still kind of understandable but this was just too much.
There's speculation that the actor couldn't do reshoots... so we get this?

The cherry on the top of the sh*t-pile was when I noticed that the dwarf Dain (Thorin's cousin) inexplicably seemed to be CGI and looked like the characters from the CGI animated Beowulf movie - that was the moment I seriously considered walking out of the theater.
So the rumors are true.
wtf
So...hopefully the scrolling art trailer.

...another Jesus film with the Son of David played by a WASP ...
I don't think WASP means what you think it means.
It's actually an acronym, you know. ALL CAPS tends to mean each letter "stands for" a word. A word pertaining to the thing to which the acronym is employed to refer.
You have failed to employ this particular acronym correctly.
Indeed. what he really meant was "white person"
Yes we know
Also on the next page (the one right this page), you can see many have already commented.

Not quite. Its a hint.
Star Wars Into Darkness
Well, because Rey's is Solo
Not sure why not Finn. Hopefully not because it's Calrissian. Or maybe so that we don't know it isn't Calrissian.
Okay we get it, there's some frames of darkness
See, I told you we should include DC and NoVA!
On the plus side, Luke & Leia would look like Luke & Leia on a modern poster

That sounds like a recipe for Mischief Night disaster. How did 10/30 go for you this year?
0 incidents.
Also, 4 of us. Golly.
Well, kids at the school I teach at live on that street, and I live 5-10 minutes from work... :(
:(
We should include DC and NoVa in this.
I live in Gaithersburg, MD!
Oh yeah, btw, I moved.

A BBC interview with Comedian Phill Jupitus about his views on the new Star Wars Film/Teaser/Prequels. This bit was interesting and encouraging to hear...
"I met an effects bloke in Essex, he drinks in my local coffee shop. He said [the makers of the new film] bought every gas-bottled air gun in England when they arrived because they wanted the Stormtroopers' guns to have a kick when they fired them. You don't have to fake it; it looks real"
Yes because "real" lasers have so very much recoil...
[too lazy to dig up a eye-rolly little smiley]
Given that these are blasters, not lasers...
So the deflicker plugin does darken the picture a bit

I was planning on using the ones already there, just in a different fashion. Like using the shots of the barge moving through the sand just without the dance music that plays, then cutting to it.
Is there some way to cut in another scene? "Meanwhile, back at the Death Star..." If so, that would take away the need to show them traveling.

Do you guys think it would be too awkward/abrupt to cut from when Luke tells Jabba "It's the last mistake you'll ever make" scene straight to them standing out on the barge waiting for it to start with a wipe of some sort? It removes alot, but you lose absolutely nothing important, and get rid of alot of annoying things.
I think some kind of establishing shot of the pit, the barge and the skiffs is necessary.

Besides the notion that voices are 'genetic' is bonkers.
I mean, there's a certain about of something here. How often are older children mistaken for their parents on the phone? Maybe it's nature, maybe it's nuture, but it's real.
Well that looks great! Especially now that you've fixed the grammar.
And so does the clip. Feeling excited about this project today.
When do we read the minutes?

I've decided that the football Droid is called "Skippy" until further notice. Because from the brief shot we got in the teaser, I had the feeling he was rushing to warn of danger. Kind of a "Beep Boop Beep... What's that Skip? Uncle Luke has fallen down a well?!?" vibe.
We already have a droid named "Skippy", thank you very much.
Just as canonical as ever before
