I haven't seen the this film (The Battle of Five Armies) yet, but I'm a big fan of the The Hobbit as well as the two Peter Jackson films of it that I've seen so far.

And I like The Hobbit much more than any of the three LotR books.

Yeah, there are differences.

However, and this not something which would apply to all fan-edits, I was thinking of a fan-edit that didn't really *have* that sequence.

should really rewatch the amazeballs shot of the Falcon swooping into the Death Star in ROTJ (The best SFX shot ever IMO). If anything, JJ's new shot has the camera more stable and fixed than the 1983 shot.

After this ^, the "not-teal-tint-afterall" and the "Oh, the ball droid is practical". I just need a reason why the broadsaber is like the OT and I'll be 100% happy with the teaser LOL

 It still blows my mind that that's all motion control models.

They'll still have some recomposited elements, re-done wipes.

They'll use the wrong (you can choose what 'wrong' means) version of the Yavin takeoff shot, credits, etc.
