I'm curious as to the logic behind this. Is it because it's easier to color ANH than to color ESB & ROTJ (the ROTJ battle, for example...) or is it because everything grey makes it a little more lifeless than it needs to be?
Guys, this is ridiculous. It's not very reasonable to accuse ken of wanting to piss people off or being on drugs. He has an opinion, he's not always good at expressing it, and his spelling & grammar are poor at times. It's not necessary to accuse him of more than that.

There is, however, a significant difference between LOTR and the OT. LOTR had loads of color-grading applied to it to begin with. Scenes were tinted every which way on purpose, from the get-go.

If they're just production blueprints, won't they simply show the one section that was built and then reused at different angles? Weren't we debating the implied room, rather than the actual set?

I actually think the Benny Hill music starts too soon. That music is traditionally used for zany run-around situations, but you've got it playing during the slow droid-unfold sequence. I think it would work better if you let the droid-unfold be super-ominous, then played Benny Hill starting when they come through The Shield.
