I think the problem has been corrected. I updated the Alerts plugin and it seems to have caused a minor problem. My bet is that those who couldn’t log in have an alert (a waiting PM, a response to a thread, etc.) and because of that it was crashing you out. Those of us who didn’t have any alerts weren’t affected.

Q2 here from FE. So yes, several users are having trouble accessing the forums though I’m not sure why. At first I thought it might be a regional issue (i.e. west coast of US) or a DNS issue but there is no consistency with either of those. The server logs aren’t showing anything either. To make the problem more difficult, sites like http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com show it’s working fine, so why some can access the forum and others can’t is a mystery. Be aware that I am looking into it, but since I’m not experiencing the problem it’s tough to diagnose. All I can advise right now is to just keep trying periodically, and if you are receiving any error message that might be useful email it to admin@fanedit.org or post it here, assuming that’s okay. I’ll keep an eye on this thread. Thank you.

(And if there is any goofy spellings here you can blame autocorrect on my phone.)

Survivors' Enclave From Another Fanediting site (.org regroup thread)
Time

We successfully migrated to our new host last night. There may be a 12-48 hour window the site is inaccessible while "fanedit.org " links to the new server, but everything is up and operational. Thank you for your patience over the last couple weeks with the glitches and bugs while we prepared for this move. The new server is speedy, and the problems experienced should be a thing of the past.

STAR WARS: points of origin - fan documentary (* unfinished project *)
Time

If you're still planning this then best of luck. But be aware that sometimes there are blockages, things that you don't plan on mucking up your art. If that happens just muscle through it because, quite frankly, it is an art. Sometimes you can just ram through those walls creating a hole of creativity, but other times you need to be gentle. Slow prodding is sometimes the best coarse to get shit flowing. We all suffer through it, yet how we get past it varies.

Good luck to you sir!

Yeah, I had a good laugh at them taking shots at me when I never asked for or received a single cent.  It was all donations to help with operating costs of FE.org, nothing more.

Aww... now you said the dirty word: FE.org. We are the anti-Christ over there. Nazi's. You name it, we're it.

Which is funny considering how open we, and this site, are. I dunno how they can justify us being such terrible sites. We allow for open registrations, and allow people to post honest unedited reviews, and don't ban people at the drop of the hat. Obviously they have issues, which is clear by the sheer number of users OT.com and FE.org have vs what they have.

You can now email an honest review of Star Wars Prologue during the month of June at their website! They'll even post the first ten reviews unedited! (How courageous of them.) If there's any takers...

The Fall of the Jedi Trilogy (Released)

I finally got round to watching these edits.  I have to say, the editting is very skillfull.  In particular, I loved the way the dialogue was editted in AOTC to make the love story more believable.

Thank you for saying so. I'm happy you enjoyed it.

I remember during the making of these edits, I am sure the AOTC fireside chat was going to be included (albeit a very trimmed version).  However, it appears to be completely removed from the edit.  Q2 - did you change your mind or are there actually 2 versions of the edit floating around?

I changed my mind after several discussions with early viewers. If you have the Blu-Ray or DVD version that heavily trimmed version is available as a bonus feature.

It seems like the AVCHD version of Revenge of the Sith is not available at myspleen. Only the DVD5 is listed.

Would it be possible for somebody to upload and seed it there? I would like to watch the whole trilogy and I'm currently downloading the first two episodes.

I would be so grateful...

It was there at one point. Not sure why it was removed. That said, I no longer have the AVCHD versions. You can still get it from usenet though.
