Hello, Star Wars fans!
This edit will be a mixture of the SE and the original version, with some additives, of course. The main source of this edit is the 2011 Blu-ray release, Color corrected by Adywan in 2018. HD version of this image needed!

This is the largest image I could find (though I only had a quick look). Obviously it does have the logo and title but they shouldn’t be too difficult to remove 👍

^ Image can be found here - https://romanian-headline.blogspot.com/2021/04/star-wars-new-hope-book-pdf.html

Some of the generic custom cover websites listed up in the An Index & Help Thread for Case Covers, Disc Labels, and Fan Art… thread may also have a decent quality image.

Good luck with it 👍

Thanks oojason! Looks gorgeous!

I would be happy to help. Does your project require color correcting? I am really good at that.

Yes, this needs color correcting for some of them. Wings, Broadway, Cimarron OG, Cimarron DOLBY, Grand, Simpsons, and Broadway 2000 all need color correcting, and stability, as they weren’t remastered and come from the 35mm sources. Work that is needed for those in editorial are 35mm Stability, upscaling to 4K, and Color correcting.
Tex, Stampede (Tex 2), Cavalcade, and Shrek were all made into digital sources during the Lucasfilm era, so the only work needed for those are the LucasFilm bylines (especially “Shrek”) and in Tex 2’s case (the 2005 scope render), The Audience is Listening slogan at the end. I will give you highest quality sources asap, if you want.

Sure! I would love to get them.
I can start work on 18th (when my new drive arives.)

Okay then. The sources will be sent soon. Thanks for your help!

No problem at all.

Another vote here for the Spleen. I’m hoping someone will have it up there pretty soon.

Done.

How do I get it? I’ve never used myspleen before.

You dont need myspleen, Just go to https://swrevisited.wordpress.com Then press “about revisited” and then “how to get” it should give you the links to download.

I’m aware. There was context that you missed. They were talking about putting it on ‘spleen and so I asked. But I downloaded it from Ady’s site anyway since nobody responded.

Oh sorry I misread.

ANH GOUT Reconstruction (WORK HAS BEGUN FOR GOOD)
Time

Even though I decided on making the death star blue, I wanted to see how it would look if the walls were grey so I made this short clip. It’s probably not going to look like this in the final cut, but it won’t hurt to experiment.

I have finally finished tweaking Adywans colour graded Blu-ray. To match the Gout.
Here are some pics: http://www.framecompare.com/screenshotcomparison/F29BFNNU

They look really good ThatGuy, good work👍.

Yes, it really does look good. Having scanned at least 10 prints of Star Wars at this point I have come to accept that the colors of the GOUT are not always representative of the theatrical look of the film, however, I spent the 80s and 90s watching the VHS tapes over and over so this is how I remember the film looking and I’m very glad that you are preserving that look in such high quality. I will definitely enjoy watching it.

Thanks williarob! Means a lot to me.
