does anyone have a link to the download for Episode 1? I would prefer using a torrent to get it since I do not know how to download so many files from rapid share without exceeding their limit.

Awesome Trailer! It is good to see this forum getting a little attention.

I found it very entertaining. The only problem with it is the same thing as Star wars..the fans. I am in my mid twenties and I grew up with Star Wars. I liked the prequels and I like this new Trek. All of the older fans are always building these movies up too much in their minds. Trek, like the prequels were destined to fail because of this fact.

I would not be surprised in people hated the hobbit when it comes out, of course the gap in between movies will have been shorter. People need to go into movies excited, but not to the point where you set it up to fail.

I agree that the prequels were not bad enough to ingnore, but I thought this Stark Trek was excellent. Great special effects.

A New Hope may have been influenced by Star Trek, but this new Star Trek is definatly influenced by Star Wars.

Great trailer. Luckily I am getting married this December so I will busy until 2010.

Is there any way to redo the Scout Walker cockpit to have the single rectangular window similar to the AT-ATs?  I never liked the droopy eyed windows, as not only did it look non-threatening but were actually quite useless can the guys piloting REALLY see anything outside of those things?).

I would think that the "window" would be a viewscreen, with one guy piloting and the other being the gunner.

 

I think it would be neat if there was a hologram of what is in front of them right in the middle of the controls. Similar to the war room in AOTC just on a smaller scale. Maybe we could have little ewoks running in the hologram.

Just watched ROTJ today and I noiced that the cockpits in the AT-ST's are pretty weak. With all the mockups I have seen of jedi fighter and x-wing cockpits, I thought these would be omething new to fix.

Also there is some great CGI of the Falcon and other fighters entering the Death Star II in one of the menus for the chapters.

I think it would be cool that if in the scenes where Luke arrives on Bespin, we see more of a hint that it is almost sunset/dusk.

I think it would be very nice visually to look at. I never understood how it went from bright light like these pictures to dark sunset five minutes later.
