This is mostly a ranking of how I enjoy the films more than how I feel about them as movies. This is why Solo and Force Awakens are pretty low. I think they’re competently made, but I also think they’re incredibly bland. Solo feels like a filmed Wookiepedia page. However, TROS and Rogue One would also probably be in the same spot if this was a “rank the films by quality” list. Rogue One has an amazing last third, but everything else feels like a mess. Events are just smashed together and nearly every character is underwritten. It honestly feels like it was written on the editing table. Not much that I can add about TROS that hasn’t been said already.

I don’t know if you’re still working on this Ziggy, but this sounds fantastic. ROTJ is one of those movies that’s so frustratingly uneven (the good parts are the best the franchise has ever been; the bad really pulls it down), and I’m always on the lookout for more VI fanedits.

I’ve grown to appreciate Hayden in ROTJ, so that’s the only sore point in this edit for me. But I love all of your other ideas, especially a new closing shot. Just wanted to say that I’m looking forward to this.
