I believe in the "One half plus seven" rule, because math never lies.

Take your age, divide by two, and add seven. If the object of your affection is younger than that, then he or she is too young.

As an example, we'll take my age, 23. Divide by two, and you get 12 (I round up). Add seven, and you end up with a final of 19. I'm 23, and I shouldn't date younger than 19. Well, in this case, 18 and a half would be fine, but I'd consider a girl who just turned 18 to be a little young for me.

This equation works well, in my opinion. At younger ages, it stops you from dating too young (eg, if you're 17, you shouldn't date younger than 15 and a half), while at older ages, it allows greater range (a 40 year old could date as young as 27). I think it keeps things in reasonable range. Also, it means that you shouldn't be dating if you're younger than 14.

Math is good like that.

If Canada only had 120 people, I'd get some friends together and call ourselves the government, ruling with an iron fist.

Yeah, but G.W. Bush would probably declare war on you then.

I'd like to see him try. We Canadians would welcome any American defectors so long as they help us fight.

Then don't. That's what pisses everyone off here. first you apologized, saying that you wouldn't say anything to her and yet you still stalk her posts. BTW, you do know she has been ignoring u for ages.

That's why I made my post above, so as to make it clear that I don't plan to comment on it.

Hmm...maybe it's just me, but it seems to me that, in "resisting to make a comment," you made a comment on the post. If you want to make it clear you don't plan to comment on it, don't say anything! Jeez. I'm siding with kev, here, Adam. You're not making a good case for yourself.

It's like Luge, but headfirst. You head down the bobsled track on a small sled headfirst

oh ok i know which one it is, i was thinking of that other one that they had going on the first come days. it was like long jump where they slide down a ramp and see how far they can get, i think the winner was over 150 m.

I believe the jump on skis is called "ski jumping"....fancy that

Sybeman, have you ever had the opportunity to try moonshine? It takes VERY little of it to get a person drunk.

Didn't I just say that I don't get drunk? What does it matter how little it takes? Moonshite is just that -- shite. I wouldn't call drinking it an "opportunity". I can one up you. My friend's a chem-eng, and she's a big fan of the drink. When she produced grain alcohol distilled to 94%, well, that was a laugh. Dude, that shit was caustic, but didn't taste half bad.

And what about Absinth? I got a bottle when I went to the Czech Republic and almost killed myself.

Yes, actually. That was one hell of an evening. Don't drink anything they attempt to call Absinthe in North America, though.
