I’m not really an artist, but here’s a crappy little sketch of Mister Miracle I did earlier this week. It was simultaneously something to celebrate Jack Kirby’s 100th birthday and part of a school project.
At least you don’t have to live with one of them. My sister thinks South America refers to the southern US.
I’m in the Real Bible Belt South™, those fellas lower than US, the Real Americans, don’t matter none anyway.
First question. Whose arm is that?!? There are many other questions.
The colour coordination is pretty good though.
This following one isn’t actually completely terrible but a good example of taking the same piece of artwork and then f**king it all up. First the awesome US cover (which hues closely to the poster feel)…
…and the ruined UK cover…
I may have to get the more expensive film book edition, or import the US BR just to not have that on my shelf LOL.
*loudly sings God Bless the USA*
And here I was thinking the US Best Buy steelbook was bad.
it’s a real shame the music is now part of the Legends continuity
Now that’s a ludicrous notion. Music transcends such petty concepts as “continuity”.
Silly battery man, don’t you know all the music in Star Wars is in-universe and all the characters hear it at all times? It’s the sounds of the Force or something.
I think you’re talking about the same thing, but with different cover images. The “new” ones aren’t “official” canon either, they were reprinted with different covers, so they may have just not bothered updating the digital versions.
- Arrival (2016) – 6/10
This post breaks at least 5 international laws.
Pervert.
I know I am. It’s one of the many reasons I would kill myself if I wasn’t afraid of eternal hellfire.
I thought Picasso’s “Coffee Pot” as my avatar would be fit my username, but I don’t think it really works well as an avatar, if that makes sense.
Anyway, just give me whatever avatar you think would work, Doc.
This pleases me.
Yeah, PC Millenial “Allergy” culture ruined the fun. #MPBGA 🥜🇺🇸🥜🇺🇸🥜🇺🇸
In honor of Jack Kirby’s 100th birthday, I’ve read the first few issues of his Mister Miracle series, and plan to continue.
Dune (1984)
Yeah… when’s Denis Villenueve’s adaptation coming out again?
You have to admit, though, Patrick Stewart rushing into battle with a pug tucked in his coat more than makes up for the Baron’s pustules.
N-no I don’t! You… you can’t make me admit anything!

What is everyone talking about? James Cameron disappeared in the mid-90s, never to be seen or heard from again. I’m sure that if he were around today, he’d release those movies on Blu Ray and easily remain socially relevant without resorting to making dumb statements directed at other filmmakers regarding representation of women.
Maybe we should just ask Max Landis.
I had a great dream which I remember very few actual events of, only that I was back at AGS. I can’t believe this past summer already feels like so long ago. My friends from then don’t answer my texts very often anymore.
Aliens (1986)
It sure is a shame James Cameron disappeared from the face of the Earth back in the 90s, he was a pretty decent filmmaker.
My parents are downstairs watching Batman v Superman while bashing rap music in order to defend the confederate flag and everything hurts.
How many books do you have?
I think he has a lot, but it’s all trashy coloring books manga.
the old republic era is the nuclear launch codes of merchandising
Please explain, because I can’t imagine this being true in any context.
Unfortunately, no. I don’t think the people behind any of the cheap, dumb ads that play on the local channels here ever upload their work online.
The ad wasn’t even trying to be funny, I have no idea what it was going for, but man was it good. Better, even, than car dealerships whose owners poorly greenscreen themselves into stock backgrounds and add whatever cheap CG elements they could grab online.
A stupid commercial made me laugh harder than anything on TV has in years. It opened with a classroom full of young children pledging allegiance to the American flag, and a lady commenting that there is no more precious sound. Somehow this was advertising a funeral home.
