^Yeah I saw that on Twitter earlier today. I appreciate the attempt at a different style intro, but it did nothing for me other than make me miss all the starfields from previous intros.
I’m fully aware that differing opinions exist, and I’m okay with that, but no thinkpiece articles will be able to retroactively un-bore me during my previous attempts to watch TPM and AOTC.
The prequels commit perhaps the worst sin a movie can commit: being boring. I can forgive a lot in a movie if it’s even just a little bit interesting or engaging, but the prequels* are just dull.
*It’s been years since I’ve tried to watch RotS, but I doubt it’s much better.
I take that back, the worst thing a movie can do is be morally repugnant, like Nazi propaganda films or something. Being boring is probably the second worst thing.

I know in my area at least, METV screws around with aspect ratios by zooming and cropping. Otherwise I’d probably watch stuff on there a lot more often.
Anyone here plan on actually subscribing to CBS All Access for Discovery? I think that if I like the TV premiere I’ll wait for the eventual complete season Blu-Ray and watch DS9 in the meantime.

I’m pretty sure I have friends who had never seen any SW movies prior to TFA, knew next to nothing about the series, and quickly became fans after TFA.
The real question is whether we’ll see the origin of his vest.

Got my ACT score back and I am so relieved. I got a composite score of 31 and on the reading section, I got a perfect score of 36. Can’t deny that this really made my day.

I’d rather watch Exorcist II than the PT, but mostly because I’ve never seen the former and am unfamiliar with it’s alleged badness, so at least it’d be something new.
