Also be mindful of the fact that Human brains continue to develop way into the mid-twenties. Your body is still awash with hormones and your mind is being put under lots of different and sometimes contradictory pressures. If you feel suicidal thoughts take these feelings seriously and talk to a clinician. It could be some transient chemical reaction which is easily course corrected with a bit of meditation or maybe a pill or two. You owe it to a potential future you not to get caught off guard at this time of your life. It’s an adventure this living thing, don’t worry about first voyage nerves or the need of a safety net during the exposition heavy early episodes 😃

I’ve already done all that. The doctor recently increased my dosage since I didn’t notice a change.

Just finished it. Really dug it. For me, Jim Lee illustrating a Frank Miller story equals awesome. No spoilers, but it’s Miller’s take on the origin of Bruce and Dick becoming the team we know. Typical of Miller, it’s darker and more adult. There are a handful graphic novels I reread every year or more. This one just joined the list.
2013, 222 pages.

Isn’t that the comic with

and Bruce hooking up with Black Canary in the rain?

So I failed a calculus test yesterday. It’s just one test, and I can retake it too, so it shouldn’t be a big deal. Well I almost immediately sprung into a suicidal mood. I began thinking that I’m going to stay behind in the class and fail everything after this and get depressed about that that I start failing my other classes and kill myself by next semester.

I’m still keeping up with a few DC books. Superman had a mediocre couple of months while Tomasi and Gleason took a break but they’re back now and having fun with (now good guy) Lex Luthor on Apokolips.

Dan Jurgens is doing good stuff with Action Comics, and even took a reveal I would normally have hated and made me like it. Or maybe I’m a DC corporate shill, idk.

Nightwing was pretty good, but I’m not a fan of how they practically tossed out a character I liked just so Dick could hook up with another girl.

The new Mister Miracle limited series has consistantly impressed me so far.

Metal, the big event crossover right now, is stupid and ridiculous and I still like it for some reason.

And not from DC, I’ve read the first few issues of The Transformers: More Than Meets the Eye (2012) and a comic about giant transforming robots has no right to be as good as it is.
