Bat-Penis update: DC are cowards and have announced that future printings and collected editions of this comic will be censored, so this now collector’s item issue is already selling for $50 in some places online.

I’ve yet to experience it.

I think Johns is getting a book under it. Something about multiple Jokers meeting up. This book was by Brian Azzarello, someone far less talented than Johns (though I like some of Johns’ work, nothing by Azzarello I’m familiar with is good at all and/or is carried entirely by the artist).

Today will go down as one of the best/worst days in comics history. I refer of course to DC’s launch of their new “mature” line “Black Label” in which the first comic, Batman: Damned will forever be remembered as the comic that gave us full frontal Bruce Wayne, and nothing else. The legacy of this new imprint will always and forever be Bat-Cock. Absolutely amazing work, DC.

I watched my first Chaplin film today, being The Gold Rush. It was charming, and I quite enjoyed it.

Yeah, except I’m certainly not a good enough writer to do anything worthwhile with it. The idea came to me as I was thinking about a time a few years ago when my grandmother died and my dad bragged that he knew it would happen that day because Jesus told him or some sanctimonious bullshit like that, and I got re-pissed about it.

Also, at the risk of posting in the wrong thread (Silent Film) The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari is a very interesting film and holds up very well.

I doubt Dom chose to watch it twice. I had to watch Triumph of the Will for a class, and in the coming weeks I will watch it again, for another class.
