I’ve said before that I didn’t want a Fett movie because I don’t care about the character at all, but James Mangold is definitely a name I can get excited for. Here’s to hoping it’s even half as good as Logan.

I think I’ve mentioned before that I spent last summer at AGS, which was one of the most wonderful experiences I’ve had the privelege of being a part of. A few minutes ago, another student messaged me to tell me that one of my teachers died. His name was Jim Rush, and his was probably the most gentle soul I’ve ever encountered. I hope this turns out to be a misunderstanding, and that reports of his death are greatly exaggerated, but as is, I’m gutted right now.
Update: Decided to ink with a real pen instead of digitally.

I almost watched Flash Gordon once. Found out the title character was a football player, and decided against it.
He was a polo player in the Buster Crabbe version and in the comics. 😉

Missed the movie in theaters, but discovered that it was a book first, so I’ve started to read it. I like it so far.
Almost done. I still like it. I hear the movie takes the book and its sequels and combines them into one movie. I hope that’s not the case because I think the movie will be available to me before I get the chance to read the sequels.

I am both a big fan of the book and a filmgoer. I’ve never actually seen the EEs. I like that the theatrical leaves out Saruman’s death. Lets me pretend he still did his whole Sharkey thing like at the end of the book.

All I remember is that the cover of my copy of The Seventh Seal had been altered to say Von Sydow actually directed the film, but later I checked it again and it was corrected to Bergman, though his name was now spelled Ingmag Bgegman.
