Does anyone know what “Star Wars Special Edition” is being referred to in this letters-page from Star Wars Weekly #10 in 1978?
I have a treasury sized issue that says something like that on the cover. It collects the whole back half of the adaptation. It’s a US book, though, so it could be something else.
How old were you when you first saw it?
16 I think. Saw the Blu-Ray was cheap and Bowie had just passed so I grabbed it. It’s delightful. I rewatched it a couple months ago (18) and liked it even more than the first time.
If I saw it in 1986 I probably would have loved it.
I bet I still would have hated that annoying shit Hoggle though.
Beyond the introductory pissing, I didn’t find him annoying at all.
