One similarity I noticed was everything you’ve said to the complaints I’ve heard since December.

“Joe, how could you?!” (slap)
Mayhew tweeted a few more pages. Here’s the last one: https://twitter.com/TheWookieeRoars/status/701879657705168896
What’s with Vader using the Force to take a cup? Why do I suddenly picture him sitting and drinking some damn fine cup of coffee? 😄
That cup was me. It’s a shame I was removed from the final cut.
Brewster’s Millions (1985). Well, I caught the last half or so on TV. It’s okay, had some good jokes. Considering my disdain for most sports, I’m surprised I enjoyed it as much as I did, as the titular character is a semi-professional baseball player.
C+ out of 7 Okay Star Balls
Now that I think about it, the only thing (or at least, the first thing) I’d really want to change (if I had the software, time, or know-how to do such things) is the colors. Teal and orange was prominent in many scenes (as with most modern movies), which was especially noticeable upon second viewing. Unless my eyes are being weird and I’m seeing things that aren’t there (which has happened before).
Your eyes might be weird. Colors are pretty natural throughout. Didn’t notice an orange shift anywhere, though the First Order interiors often had a teal look due to the lighting. If you want you could pretty easily remove that, but I’m not sure why. There’s nothing inherently wrong with teal and orange.
I swear the stars behind the crawl looked blue. The rest of the stars looked fine to me, but the first stars just looked blue to me.
It still isn’t inherently bad, in fact I think it looks pretty good. I’d just want it to better fit the OT. It really is, for the most part, the First Order interiors, like you said. This is about what I had in mind (taken from a youtube video I found):
The shoe picture appears to be the same, but the rest are totally different.
I figured as much after the bacon post.
Sorry about all my technical difficulties.
Okay, is it good now? It should be… If not, I’ll just delete it and try again some other time.
Bloody stump?
Sure thing, just a second.
The Neverending Sigh - Foo Fighters. Part of an EP they released for free months ago on iTunes and I didn’t know about it until a couple days ago. Good stuff.
Alright Wook, I think I’ve fixed it. It seems to take a while to upload for me so it should be fine soon.
As for your restoration, FanFiltration, no I have not. I’ve never been able to download any edits or restorations to watch because my computer sucks too much to download anything really. As soon as I have a good one, I might check it out after I get Harmy’s Trilogy (assuming an official release isn’t out by then).
Ah, the Special Longer Version. Now, I love, TMP more than most people do. It actually was my introduction to Trek. But I don’t think I could watch an even longer version of an already slow movie.

I don’t know. There had to be some long lonely nights before she married Cliegg. 😉
Plot Twist: C3PO made Anakin first
O how the mighty fall! Just a couple days ago they were on the top of Google when I typed Star Wars as media sites sung their praises.
Rented them from Movie Gallery. Honestly don’t remember what order but I like to imagine it was OT first. Star Wars movies and Tron were the most rented and watched movies of my childhood. They’re both still some of my favorite movies in case you didn’t notice from my profile pic and the signature below 😉
I’ve considered swapping TPM and ROTS on my list, but ultimately I think I’d have to watch them again, and I don’t want to put myself through that. So for now my list is:
SW/ANH=TESB>>TFA>ROTJ>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>ROTS>TPM>>AOTC
Eh. Having been born in the late 90s and growing up with both Trilogies, I don’t feel like the whole ‘product of the generation’ thing is entirely accurate.
Key word is “can” have an influence, not “does” have an influence.
Yeah, the more I think about it the more I actually agree with what you said. In fact, most people I talk to around my age think Jurassic World CG looks good.

Then again, most people I talk to around my age defend the PT to some degree, even if they don’t like them much. Most of them think they’re mediocre but watchable.
In fact, there’s an old former friend of mine that loves them purely out of nostalgia and knows that they’re bad movies.
Maybe I’m just a hipster.
My only major problem with GOTG is the weak villain, but almost all of Marvel’s movie villains are just as forgettable anyway.
The Thor movies and the Iron Man sequels are the weakest movies by far. I just can’t stand any of those except maybe the first Thor if I feel generous.
I’ve heard that the color timing on the blu rays of the movies (I-VI) is heavily altered from the original versions but I can’t find many examples of this. When I was watching them all some time after I got the set for Christmas, I noticed a lot of DNR on VI and the colors looked odd but I haven’t seen any other version so I have nothing to compare it to (except one film cell I have on my wall).
Time to go fly around the Earth to bring back a time before Frink v. Duracell: Thread of Injustice
I sure hope it’s better than the last movie. Yeesh!
Excuse you, GOTG is one of Marvel’s best films!
Only time it pulled me out of the film was the very end with the spinny helicopter shot. However, upon second viewing it wasn’t as bad. The first time I went, I saw it in 3D (because it was an hour earlier than the standard 2D premiere) and it looked horrible. In the second viewing, it wasn’t nearly as bad. Maybe it’s just me though.
Twitter needs to figure out a way to put a “Not dead!” icon next to names that are trending that are alive and well. When I saw Paul McCartney was trending, I feared the worst!
A while back I saw Betty White trending on Instagram and assumed she died, but it was actually her birthday.
