Why do people like Zack Snyder exist? I’d like to talk to the moron at Warmer Brothers who hired that clown to kickstart the DC cinematic universe.
You see, when a mommy Snyder and a daddy Snyder love each other very much…
Anyone else just really hate the line “No one stays good in this world,”? It’s awful. I don’t know if it was the delivery or the line itself (probably both) but man I hate it.
O MY GOD I WAS SO DUMB
Plinkett isn’t wrong and those reviews have more than their share of funny moments, but I’ve never been comfortable with the whole wife murdering angle.
Agree entirely
O yeah, in the right hands, the political aspects pf a Star Wars movie could have worked very well. The prequels, since they were in the wrong hands, often feel like C-SPAN in space, which is boring. If it was interesting, I’d be okay with a Star Cold War. However, if handled in a Lucasian way, then no.
Well Mad Mick, the PT is inferior because of reasons that include but are not limited to:
•Poor scripts
•Bad special effects
•Characters that are either bland or flat out unlikable
•Boring stories of political arguments that only occasionally result in brief moments of titular Star Wars
PT fans are not extinct, and they’ve actually somewhat increased in number since TFA.
Right before TFA came out, parts of the internet were filled with pre-teens/young teens who either hadn’t seen SW before or just hadn’t in many years and watched them all before the next movie.
Before long, all of them became fans of all of the movies, PT included, and they started making posts on Tumblr and other places about “shipping” characters (mostly PT for some reason).
It’s a bizzare thing. I expected TFA to bring new OT fans, but didn’t expect new PT fans to spring up with them.
Ah, okay. Well, thanks again.
I have this constant nagging fear that no one will ever love me and that I’m cursed to be alone for the rest of my life. It’s totally irrational but it lingers in my mind regardless.
So yeah… pray for that to go away.
Sure thing 😄. Don’t worry, God loves you no matter what.
That’s not the kind of love I was referring to, but thanks. I should’ve specified that I meant romantic love. My bad.

The problem with removing Death of Superman from BvS is that we don’t know how long he’ll be dead. Sure, the last shot implied that he’s alive but will he actually appear at the beginning of JL1, or the end of JL1, or not until JL2, or another time, we don’t know.
Here are some things I’d do in the edit I’ll never get around to:
Remove Thomas Wayne swinging at Joe Chill
Remove bats making Bruce fly in dream
Cut some of Lex Jr.'s more ridiculous moments (Granny’s Peach Tea, general twitchyness)
Remove the Flash’s dream(?) message from the future
Trim down some blatant JL setup (cut away before videos are clicked on)
Remove weird slo-mo shot of Superman standing still rather than trying to find survivors in burning building
Remove some cameos of real people
Try to change the reason (if possible) for the titular fight to end (they stopped fighting because their moms have the same first names? Really?)
Remove Doomsday and unearned Death of Superman pseudo-adaptation entirely, Lex gets arrested for his crimes after Bats and Supes settle their differences.
I can’t speak for Duracell, but I personally don’t care for those as much as the newer ones First Class and DOFP. The newer ones seem to be made with more appreciation for the source material (outside of Wolverine, who they’ve always had right).
I’d give X-Men a B probably, and X2 a B+
And i’m called a troll 😄
Yes, on a website called Original Trilogy, someone that doesn’t like the PT as much as a harmless TV special based on the OT is automatically a troll.
It’s been about a million years since I’ve watched the PT, and I haven’t seen all of the Holiday Special in one viewing bc I don’t have access to it, but yeah I’m pretty serious.
I can’t sleep. At all. Becoming somewhat paranoid now. I feel like something is very wrong, both with myself and with my surroundings. I walked all around this hotel room I’m in, peeked out the door, looked out the window, and I can’t find anything more than slightly odd. Nothing appears wrong, but something feels very wrong…
I think I’m hearing things though. Sounds that I either haven’t noticed before or didn’t exist before. Or don’t exist.
This might be the movie that finally gets me into fanediting myself.
I wish there was a cinematic universe of DC heroes based on older versions of characters. Like a whole movieverse based on the Golden Age.
I hate it when people use “dog ears”! Why do you people have to fold the corner?! Why can’t you use a bookmark?!
This is among one of my deepest pet-peeves…for it speaks not only to the laziness of the reader, but also to their carelessness towards undamaged property…how difficult is it truly to find even a small piece of paper to mark one’s place?
Oh my word, YES!
Personally, I also hate it when people break the spine of a pristine book. I always go to the effort not to break the spine of a book so as to keep it in as pristine a condition as possible. Paperbacks don’t last very long, anyway: there’s no need to hasten its disintegration along.
Anytime I accidentally break the spine, I feel a deep sense of sadness and regret.
This reminds me of a time when I let a friend borrow a comic book and when I got it back, THE COVER WAS TOTALLY DETACHED!!!
He then claimed that it wasn’t his fault and that I tried to frame him. Yeah, I would totally tear the cover off my own comic.
Doomsday should not have appeared at all. Instead, Lex should’ve made his Warsuit to fight instead:
That would have been awesome. Instead, Snyder had to prematurely blow his load and get Death of Superman out of the way.
Sigh
In no universe is The Holiday Special better than the prequels. The prequels aren’t very good, but The Holiday Special is just the worst. At least the prequels had a story, as botched as it is.
Wrong. The Holiday Special has some fun moments, the PT has some “that’s kinda cool I guess” moments at best. I’ll take Han making a Stormtrooper fall off a balcony over just about any PT scene any day.
10,000
I didn’t care much for the cameos of real people. They took me right out of the movie. I mean, Nancy Grace in a comic book movie?! Ugh.
Im skeptical of anything R rated with Superman in it, it just feels wrong. And I don’t think the extended cut would fix the ending, which is my biggest complaint. Maybe it’ll have some good material that someone could use in a fan edit.
Also, apparently Snyder wanted Joker and/or Riddler in the movie and couldn’t have them. So he spliced those two together and called him Lex Luthor. 😒
Please don’t tell me it’s got a post-credit scene.
