Hell***ooo***, what have we here‽
EDIT: what happened to my beloved bold-talics?

Yeah, that looks all right.
O wait, you meant the mov-- nvm.
Even separating the artist from the art, I hate Singer’s superhero films. I’m sure the “superhero costumes r stoopid” mindset has always been around, but I don’t recall it infecting the movies, television, and even the comics to any great degree before Singer got his hands on the X-Men. Now superheroes gotta wear “realistic” costumes with extraneous textures & buckles & zippers & straps & plates 'cause so-called creators & so-called fans have disdain/embarrassment for the source material.
I’m not embarrassed by comics, but I do think the costumes worn by characters from those comics would look pretty stupid
You… you just proved his point.
Lol, almost all the pics in this thread are dead.
Anyway,
I thought I remembered an old thread specifically to share pictures of dogs, but I went too many pages back in this sub-forum and found old wario64 threads, so I quit looking. Anyway, have these new pictures of my old dog, Tippi!
Still the same dog mentioned at the beginning of this thread, but the links work (for now) and I have a much better camera than I did then.
Thanks!

Your phone wants you to do more sit-ups.

I feel like when the We Hate Movies make fun of Stan Lee, they include another guy, and I’m assuming it’s Steve Ditko.
Maybe, but I feel like that’s probably Jack Kirby. Lee co-created lots of characters with both of them, and both had similar issues with how much credit Lee tended to take for himself. Kirby was a bit more prolific, though. At least during his time at Marvel.
Steve Ditko, co-creator of Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, and many more, 90
Idk what I’d do about last names if I got married. Probably just not get married, but if I do, it would depend largely on what sounds best to me.
NO RAINBOW LANTERNS
But what about the ones you can’t see? 😛
Wait, this isn’t a thread for the Styx song “Mr. Roboto”? Lame.

^An’ a’that.
Writing a person’s name in “stutter” is clever? What world am I even living in?
Earth-666, mfm’s favourite universe.
I forget, is that the Hebrew Marvel Universe or the Latin one?

I really do feel stupid. I know I’m supposed to love it, but I don’t, so I feel like the stupidest, fakest, “movie lover” on the planet. I really feel like don’t know a gaddam thing.
l
I’m watching The Godfather.
I haven’t finished it yet. I will, though, I promise.
Technically it’s great. It’s pretty, it’s got good music, a good cast, there’s quite a bit going for it. But…
I don’t care.
I just don’t get this movie. I don’t understand why I’m supposed to care that x got shot or y killed z because I never cared about any of them. It all just feels empty, devoid of life, and I’m not sure I can make myself finish it.
And I know this is blasphemy, and it honestly hurts to say this because I want to love this movie as much as every other movie lover on the damn planet, but it just rings hollow for me.
I pray that someday I’ll rewatch it and see the masterpiece that everyone else sees, but right now… I got nothing.
So what am I, a stupid kid who doesn’t know a damn thing about film or art or anything, missing?
I’m still not disillusioned as you, but I wouldn’t be surprised if I eventually become so. To me, there’s still quite a bit of good out there, but YMMV of course.
