Is your favorite movie one from the Star Wars franchise?

For me, yes, the original and Empire are nearly tied as my favorite, with the original barely beating out Empire.

Nolan also started with the logo. The textless logo openings in TDK trilogy were well done. Now everything from Marvel to Star Trek even is withholding titles until the end.

Picked up a random EU book today at the library, Planet of Twilight (the only EU book there that wasn’t labeled on the cover as a sequel to another book). I read chapter 1 and thought it was good, though there are a few characters introduced and hardly described, so it’s hard to make a mental image of them.

Actually I was, since I entered the wrong year into my time machine once. I stayed for a while to see Ghostbusters (200016) and judge the future of cinema. The decision to make all the main characters aliens, just to appease the alieninists was a bit too PC for me.

But I thought MAC took over in 200008.

There was a PC resurgence after MAC was caught trying to assassinate the great H.P. Jack.
