Still looking for a link to this if anyone can help me out.

Thank the lord! Now if we could only get a proper restoration of the Dirty Harry movies.
From what I’ve seen the new blu-ray sold really well, so maybe there’s hope.
That seems a bit overkill. The game footage is turning out surprisingly clean, so I think it’ll be fine.
Here are some screenshots.
Not bad, that’s better then I expected.
So episode had that were removed in the DVD versions BUT, some episodes had scenes added in the DVD version (ex, the Rocky review) so what I think you should do is combine all of them to create the ultimate version of each episode.
I think it’d be better to have 2 versions, an original version and a DVD version.
A lot of the gameplay in the early episodes was pretty poorly recorded (using composite and a DVD recorder). If you wanted you could probably re-create it in emulation and get much better quality.
Sounds neat. I haven’t seen a lot of these since they were first uploaded, would be fun to go back and watch some in HD.
I don’t think you understand the point of preservation. It’s not about your agreeing with the content.
Well said

the 5.1 mixes still sound the same as their originals with no noticeable changes made to it.
Like crissrudd4554 said, not true.
Pretty sure I’ve posted this before but this is a good site for write-ups on audio mixes: https://blah-ray.blogspot.com/
Are there any mono tracks that have currently never been released on DVD/Blu-ray?
Yes. A lot actually.
It seems like it’s more rare for the original mono to be included then not.
You could take the uncensored bits from the DVDs and edit it into the tv rips to create what would be as close as possible to having a complete uncut series.
The DVDs aren’t straight episodes, they’re more like best-of compilations.
Would appreciate a link to these if anyone still has them.
I’d love to check this out if someone could PM me a link.
I don’t have any episodes in HD sadly, but I’d be interested in checking them out when you’ve acquired them all.
I’d appreciate a link to this if anyone has one.
I would like a link to this if someone could send me one.
Well in a way, each theater chain gets a different version of the same movie, but the only thing that changes really is with different bumpers and previews
It’s not the film distributors who add those. The theaters just get send the film (either print or DCP) and the theaters themselves slice in previews, bumpers, or whatever else.
Does anyone have a link for this? I’d love to check it out.
If anyone has a link for this, I’d appreciate a PM 😄
Looking forward to this being released!
The Muppets came to Disney+ recently, and, wouldn’t you know it, they’ve been edited to hell and back! Not only is The Muppet Show edited to remove “copyright infringing” material, but there are two episodes missing entirely. Namely, the Brooke Shields one, and the one hosted by Chris Langham (for those of you that don’t live in Britain, he was a comedian who got arrested for looking up child porn on his computer).
I knew they put that dumb disclaimer in front, but I didn’t know they censored it as well. How’s the quality? Maybe someone can do a proper restoration using them as a primary source.
There’s a new 4k BD coming out next month, possibly will have different color grading.
Also I see the complaint of it being “too dark” a lot but I just re-watched it and honestly it looked fine, I never had any problems seeing anything.
Would love to check this out if someone could send me a link.
Is it possible to mix Atmos without some expensive Dolby workstation? I bet you could do something really cool with a good Atmos mix to Fantasia, even if it’s not 100% true to the original Fantasound.
Out of curiosity, is there anything wrong with the blu-rays or Home Alone?
Does anyone have a link to this extended edition? I’d love to check it out!
