Damn, this looks sooooooooo gooood!!
When can we expect the whole (beta) movie?I’m afraid it will take some time, maybe years, creator just vanished.
Nope, his profile says:

Thunderbean actually released a 35mm scan of Fantasia (uncensored). There’s a 720rip of it on cartoon chaos. It comes with a 1.0 track and a 5.1 track.
An invite to cartoon chaos would be nice…
Hello there 😉
I’m looking for Dark_Jedi’s Star Wars Trilogy Theatrical Editions V1 or V3 versions. Are they anywhere available besides MySpleen? Unfortunately i don’t have an account for that. I hope i’m not confusing this, but this is Project Blu, right?
I’ve seen them on Usenet using Nzbking indexer. Here’s OT.com’s ‘Guide to Downloading Projects from Usenet’.:

Curious, if V2.0 uses the Aussie DVD than how come it’s still called a Laserdisc Restoration?
You don’t have to do the 1.33 one if you don’t want to.
It’s 576p not 540p.
storage resolution = 720x576
display resolution = 768x576. 768 divided by 576 = 1.33
A user on Myspleen said 576p has 20% higher resolution than 480p.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/576p
Google - 720x576Okay, yes 720x540 is 1.33 but PAL is 576p and what stated above is correct.
You’re close! Handbrake is saying that the file is actually 716x574. However, because of the production proxy 540p preset, the storage size is automatically reduced to 720x540, which is disappointing.
In the PM’s we exchanged, you mentioned a program called VidCoder. I’m not sure about disk space, but I’ll see if I can install that and hopefully bypass the lowered resolution.
No, I’m not close. I’m right. PAL IS 720x576. Eyes Wide Shut PAL DVD IS 720x576. Handbrake is adjusting it to the incorrect resolution. Vidcoder shows it as storage resolution = 720x576 and display resolution = 768x576 as stated above. 768 divided by 576 = 1.33. Voila!
BTW I thought you said you make your own presets so why are you using that ‘production proxy’ preset? ‘Hopefully bypass the lowered resolution’. I’m going to tell you right now, create your own preset in Vidcoder and you’ll have the EXACT and correct resolution you need which is 768x576 which is 1.33. If you divide 768 by 576 you’ll see that it’s 1.33. Go ahead use a calculator. Keep in mind what the storage resolution is of a PAL DVD and what the display resolution is like I stated above. Please ditch Handbrake and get the superior Vidcoder.
I’ve used Vidcoder for years because it’s basically Handbrake (It uses the handbrake engine as they say) but with a much better user interface. I get the feeling you don’t use the program ‘MediaInfo’. You should because it lists out every little detail about a video file. If you used it you would know for a fact that the file I gave you and the PAL DVD is 720x576. ‘MediaInfo’ also shows a Vidcoder encoded file as being encoded by Handbrake. Interesting little proof that Vidcoder uses Handbrake engine, right? ‘MediaInfo’ link and Vidcoder link to download them:

Thank you for the heads up, I am aware of these projects. What I want is simply feedback and I don’t so much mind the entrepreneurial stuff.
As soon as I saw the title of this thread I found it quite odd since you’re not Harmy.
EWS fan here. What do you think of making your edit in 1.33 and 1.66 also? (or just 1.33 along with 1.85) Would it be too much of a bother?

CMGF seems to be making quick progress on his version of restored Fantasia. Hopefully we will have something up soon.
Should this be V2 or restored DVD edition V1 (since it uses the Australia DVD as a video source).
And then maybe an upscale using Topaz?
Upscale would ruin things, I would think.
?? I’ve upscaled DVDs before with Topaz that looked great.

Not “incredibly difficult” at all. Wow. Just a hassle. I’ve done it several times and again it’s just a bit of a hassle. Yes, you need the right version of iTunes which is part of the hassle. Google for Requiem and google for directions.
Actually, ‘Requiem’ should still work for HD Itunes. I used it not that long ago.
Once you buy and download it through iTunes, you can use a DRM removal tool like TunesKit, and then you’ll have a workable m4v file to do with as you please.
Tuneskit no longer works. It also DEFINITELY never worked with 4k.
What DOES work?
Purchase it.
