MakeMKV is quite a popular piece of software for doing that - along with some useful tutorials online; both video and forum discussions.

Handbrake is a decent alternative too - easy to use - though apparently it does not rip commercial blu rays.

If I was to use that what would be the best method in converting the MKV into MP4?

Star Wars - Episode IV: The Heir of Skywalker (V2 Released)

This is my favorite Star Wars movie and I love the color grading on it. Like others said some of the musical choices were odd. Your edit had some framerate issues, it was kind of choppy/stuttery especially at the beginning. I’m wondering if it’s because you chose 29.970 fps over 23.976. It would be nice if the file was blu ray compliant but both the video and audio aren’t.

Does somebody know how to acqurie the ESB and ROTJ 1997 SE versions in HD. The only Reconstruction/Transfer I was able to come by was Harmy’s Respecialized Edition.

Anybody able to help me?

As of right now, unfortunately no. The best Versions are either Harmy’s Respecialied or Adywans ESB reconstruction.

Incorrect. ‘ImBateman’ formerly Trillary Dump has done a ESB and ROTJ 97SE HD versions, both high quality. He mentioned the ESB one over at thestarwarstilogy site and he has a ROTJ thread here.
