In Favre, all things are possible.

Just remember that the then 3-4 Browns took you bums into overtime, almost handed you your first loss of the season.
If the Browns, with all that has happened this year, could do that...you are in for a shock.

I will admit that there are certain conspiracy theories I'll buy into.

Roswell, for example. I've heard/read a fair amount of stuff concerning that. I think there is something more to it than the most recent explanations.
To me, nothing seems to fit any better than the alien story. But then, its been over 60 years, and I'm sure the stories have been embellished somewhat.

However, the stuff about the ancient civilizations, the magnetic belts in space, extra planets etc. I just do not buy into.

Monday.
The day after Philly gets another loss.
The day I will sing MY teams fight song, and if HTML was possible on this board, I'd even go as far as to add background music for my post. I found both MIDI and Real Audio versions of the music.

KotOR2: The Sith Lords for XBox has gone gold...

I've played 5 or 6 games.

Game 1 was a male scoundrel/guardian, light side.
Game 2 was a male soldier/guardian, mostly light side.
Game 3 was a female scout/sentinel, dark side.
Game 4 was a male soldier/?sentinel?, light side, armor/blaster jedi.
Game 5 was a male scoundrel/consular, dark side, weaponless.
Game 6 (current project) is a male scoundrel/consular, light side, weaponless.

I may have another game in there somewhere.
In order to save space (and clutter on my save screen), I zipped my older games.

I should qualify one thing. In my weaponless games, I have been using grenades, but nothing else. In fact I beat Malak by spamming him with Thermal Detonators. Worked very good. After draining his "batteries", I just starting throwing detonators. One hits, and he gets knocked down. As soon as gets up, the next one is at his feet and going off.

I don't know. I was a fair singer in a few years ago in high school:

Hail, hail the gang's all here to yell for you,
And keep you going in your winning ways,
Hail, hail the gang's all here to tell you too,
That win or lose, we'll always sing your praises Packers;
Go, you Packers, go and get 'em,
Go, you fighting fools upset 'em,
Smash their line with all your might,
A touchdown, Packers, Fight, Fight, Fight, Fight!
On, you Green and Gold, to glory,
Win this game the same old story,
Fight, you Packers,
Fight, and bring the bacon home to Old Green Bay.

I think I need a little more practice before the real thing...

Oh, on the contrary, I think the Scoundrel/Guardian is can be very strong. My first character was a 7/13 Scoundrel/Guardian.

What made him really powerful was a combination of (again) the Sneak Attack bonus and Force Jump. When you Force Jump into an enemy, its not able to react, thus you get the bonus.
I was taking down Horned Kath Hounds at level 8 with a single hit.

son of a...
I wrote this nice long post in response to Starboy, and it didn't get posted.

Let me try to sum it up I guess:

1.
Because of natural causes (plate techtonics, erosion, etc.) we have no idea how much of our past history has been destroyed and is now impossible for us to learn. Its possible (though probably unlikely), that the evidence of the dinosaur to bird transition has been lost in this way.

2.
Humans didn't just start evolving all over the world at the same time.
Some of the oldest hominid fossils found were in southern and western Africa. The Olduvai Gorge is where Australopithecus was found by the Leakey family. Hadar, Ethiopia is where the famous 'Lucy' skeleton was found.
If a human-ape missing link is going to be found, most likely it will be in Africa.

Now, that said, the dinosaur-bird missing link is most likely to be found in one area of the world. Indications would point to China, since so many discoveries have been made there already, but there is a lot of territory to search, and for a westerner to get into China for an expedition is NOT easy.
(I think there was some 70 years between the expedition by Roy Chapman Andrews and whoever went next.)

Precisely. This is my second time trying it. First time through I played DS, so I'd have an easier time with Drain Life and Force Lightning. I made mistakes with that character. First of all, I loaded up on Strength. Not smart. My force powers were too easily shrugged off, and I couldn't use any Wisdom increasing items (their all LS restricted).

This time I'm going with LS.
I'm a 6/14 Scoundrel/Consular. Being a Scoundrel is important, because of the damage bonus you can get from Sneak Attack if an enemy is unable to attack.
My favorite move is to first use Force Choke/Death, then to Flurry them while they cannot respond. It usually takes enemies out pretty quick.

Is it wrong to name your kids after a Star Wars character?
Time
About 10 years ago, here in Cleveland, we had a couple guys on the radio, Jeff and Flash. They had a few segments on their show that I found funny enough that I'd actually tape them on a day-to-day basis (listener jokes, dumb ways to die, weird stuff in the news).

One that I remember talked about a man in Italy that was proud of is Asten Martin, Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Jaguar and Lexus.
Those were the names he gave to his sons. His wife finally put her foot down when they had a girl. Her name is Maria.

Regarding the moon:
I was once told my my high school physics teacher that there is a way to prove we landed on the moon.
One of the Apollo missions left a large mirror (or mirrored paper or something like that) on the moon.
If you point a powerful enough laser at the moon at the proper coordinates, you'll have the beam reflected back to you.
Real story or not?? I don't know, but something definitely worth looking into.

Starboy,
Are you serious??
Paleontology was, until I was about 12 years old, going to be my profession. Now it is only a hobby.
What 1 skeleton are you talking about?? Because what I've read indicates that at least 6 genus of dinosaurs had rudimentary feathers, another 1 was discovered with more developed feathers.
Then there are 4 more classified as birds (including the Archeopteryx).

People haven't found the definitive missing link between man and ape either.

JFK:
I do not know what to believe, except to say that I've seen those specials on TV where they trace the route of the bullet (assuming there was only 1), and there is no way on Earth that there was only Oswald. This bullet would have had to make almost 90 degree turns at a couple times during its trip to hit everyone where the coroner/autopsy reports say.

And since you bring up this topic, let me throw some more wood on the fire:

1. Is Elvis really dead? (Or is he living in a retirement home in Texas under the name Sebastian Huff?)

2. How did Marilyn Monroe really go?

3. Do you buy the story the USAF gave concerning Roswell?

If I were one of those children, I would be suing for independence and legally changing my name before grade school. Can you imagine how much resentment a child like that would have for their parents? Childhood is cruel enough even with a normal name. Give a bully ammunition like a stupid name and that child is screwed for life.
And what about the 3 poor kids in the US named 'ESPN'?
Then there is Hollywood, where we have Apple Paltrow (or whatever the kdis last name is), and now we have Hazel and...umm...Filmore, no, Phinnaeus, yes that's it.

Phinnaeus?? I've got a friend to introduce you to, his name is the 21st century.
That kids going to have a home tutor, you know. No parent in their right mind is going to first give that name, then let them go to school with it.

They'll be luck if the tutor doesn't riticule the kid.

Hotrod,

It is worth playing that game solely to hear HK-47. He has some of the best lines you'll ever hear in a video game.
He's basically a psychiotic protocol/assassin droid.

PC: Why do you call me meatbag?
HK-47: It's just that you have all these squishy parts, master. How the constant sloshing doesn't drive you mad, I don't know.
PC: On second thought, neither do I...

After hearing incomprehendable Jawa speak
PC: HK-47, can you help me out here?
HK-47: Translation - 98% probability that the members of the miniature organics tribe are being held by sand people, doubtless he wishes assistance.
PC: What about the other 2%?
HK-47: Translation - 2% probability that the miniature organic is simply looking for trouble and needs to be blasted. That may be wishful thinking on my part though, master.

"Damn it master, I'm an assassination droid, not a dictionary."

HK-47: Suggestion: Perhaps we should blast him now and save us some time, eh, Master?
Tanis: What's with all the droids lately? My wife get to you?
HK-47: Statement: No, I just hate ALL meatbags. Except for the master of course....yes

HK-47 fans: Rumors are abound about what the deal is with HK-47. I've heard that he isn't in, then that he is. I've seen screenshots of an HK-50 character, but to what extent he is used is unknown.
See more below.

Hotrod,
Running around is the most boring part, but it will become worth it soon enough, because that's how you get from one pocket of enemies to the next.

[spoiler]

The latest I saw was that he's on the Ebon Hawk with T3, but he's badly damaged and that you spend practically the entire game repairing him and gradually he tells you what happened during the time after KotOR.

Galahad,
Based on what I've read, when you meet your first group member, the 2 of you get in a conversation about what happened over the past few years. If you answer the questions a certain way, the game infers that you (as Revan in game 1) were light-side or dark-side, male or female.
For example, you're told that Revan disappeared. If you answer "Revan, didn't he save the Republic from Sith forces a few years ago?" You can infer that a male, light-side character was used.

Also, I just saw in today's Best Buy add, KorOR is on a 2 for $30 list of games, so you can get it cheaper than $20.

I'm disappointed by the non-simultaneous release.

However, I'm really excited about all the gameplay stuff I've heard about:
(I don't think these are spoilers...)

- Characters attitudes shift with you (you become evil, so do they)
- Each party member has some special ability (the soldier that doesn't collapse if someone else is standing, the Jedi that gives a bonus to experience gain, the bounty hunter with the wrist-rockets)
- I read something where someone said that there is a surprise in the game that rivals that of "Luke, I am your father." for its surprise value.
- Lightsaber dueling styles (some defensive, some offensive, some chaotic, at least 1 is a balance)
- no level cap
- the prestige levels
- Force Crush!!!!
