The Return of Six Degrees of Star Wars
Time
Polly Holliday was in Mrs. Doubtfire with Robin Williams.
Robin Williams was in Hook with Bob Hoskins.
Bob Hoskins was in Who Framed Roger Rabbit with Richard LeParmentier.

Richard LeParmentier was General Motti, first man ever to be force-choked.

Oh, this should be easy. How many steps to connect Ron Perlman?

Edit:...oh man, I wasn't paying attention.
You can make Perlman in 1.

Who has caved?

I'm a number 2.

1. I wanted to really see with my own eyes what had been done and without having what would conventionally be called 'friends', I would have no one to borrow from.

2. I actually bought the Ewoks movies, Ewoks cartoons and Droid cartoons on DVD.
I probably would have bought Star Wars disks if everyone had been digitally replaced with pigs and the Death Star had been changed into a giant Yo-Yo.

Speaking of which, I heard that they are planning a remake of "Revenge of the Nerds". Is nothing sacred?!?!
There were 3 RotN sequels. I've seen them all on TV.

Revenge of the Nerds 2: Nerds in Paradise
Revenge of the Nerds 3: don't recall name
Revenge of the Nerds 4: Nerds in Love

You are thinking of #3 Windexed.

Sequels that should never be...
Time
from IMDB:

Leslie Nielsen once again plays a bumbling detective in the vein of the 'Naked Gun' movies, but this time as Marshall Richard 'Dick' Dix. When odd reports are received through official channels stating that the President of the United States is being held captive on a secret international moon base called Vegan and that he has been replaced on Earth by a clone, the US Marshall Service immediately sends their 'best' man, Dix, on the mission. Dix travels to Vegan to rescue the president, but is quickly duped and ends up returning to Earth where he installs the clone-president and removes the real one. The bumbling Dix must then find a way to restore the real president before aliens take over the Earth, and restore in himself a belief in truth, justice and the American way.

Off that list, I've seen:

- Parts of PA: Mission to Moscow (on TV)
- Parts of PA: City Under Siege (on TV)
- 2001: A Space Travesty (on TV)
- Parts of Street Fighter (on TV)
- Barbwire (on TV)
- Parts of Jaws 3D (on TV)
- Superman IV (I actually saw that in the theater)
- Mr. Magoo (rented video)

I enjoy Leslie Neilsen comedies, so 2001 and Mr. Magoo weren't so bad.

Laptops
Time
I've used 2 generations of Compaq Presario laptops, if you have any interest in getting a PC rather than a MAC.

My only issue with them, has been the battery. After about 4 years, the first laptop couldn't hold a charge at all. I'd leave it charging overnight, and within 5 minutes of unplugging it, it wouldn't even turn on.
The battery in my newer one is better, but not 100% of what I'd like. However, its probably got lousy life on it because its a full-blown Athlon, not any kind of special laptop chip.

Maybe its just me, but I think this is the best ‘free gift’ item they’ve ever produced. Its a shame I have no interest whatsoever in getting Republic Commando.

We don't need all that Chaltab...

We've got secret weapons.
1. Cramming Michael Moore into a speedo. The stormtroopers and AT-AT drivers will throw up inside their helmets, obscuring their vision. Then we can strike.
2. We have a german translation of the Funniest joke ever written. If we can safely translate it into Huttese...

Other altered works
Time
Fantasia:
I keep reading that every edition of the movie, excluding its original Theatrical release, had some minor alterations in the Centaur scenes.

E.T.:
I bought the $80, but I've long watched it once. I'm pretty sure that its unaltered.
Rev. Beastly: To my knowledge, no edition of the movie except the $80 was released that had guns and terrorists.

It is indeed an episode.

Season 4, Episode 1: Roswell that Ends Well

This might be the best line in the episode:
Professor: "Start the ship, Leela! Let's just steal the damn radar dish, and get back to our own time."
Fry: "But, but, won't that change history?"
Professor: "Oooh… A lesson in not changing history from Mr. I'm-my-own-grandpa! Let's get the hell out of here already. Screw history!"

Or like that episode of Futurama...

Fry: *snore*
Leela: "Oh!"
Bender: "Oh my god!"
Fry: *tap* "Eh?"
Professor: "What the hell have you done Fry?"
Fry: "Relax. She can't be my grandmother! I've figured it all out."
Professor: "Of course she's your grandmother you perverted dope! Look"
Mildred: "Come back to bed dery."
Fry: "Waa! It's impossible! If she's my grandmother, then who's your grandfather?"
Professor: "Isn't it obvious? You are!"
Fry: "Aaaaa! Aaaaa! Aaaaa!"

WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH YOUR TAX RETURN ???
Time
Not sure. Have to see how much I get back and when.

It'll probably just go into my saving account. That's where most of my money goes anyways.

[pointless rant]
Let me give everyone some advice:
- Have a relative working at the college you attend, chances are high you can go tuition-free (i.e. no college loans). All I ever had to pay for, was my books and either bus fare or a parking pass.
- Live with your parents as long as possible (even if they charge rent, it will probably be cheaper than the real world)
- Work within walking distance of your home (saves on gasoline costs)
- Don't date (no expensive dinners or gifts)
- Never overextend yourself on buying anything...interest charges will break your back. I've never payed only part of a credit card bill in the 6 years I've had one.

The preceeding 5 pieces of information are why I was able to pay cash for a $10,000 car ('99 CR-V in Sept. of 2003), why I have over $7000 in the bank, and another $5500+ invested in the market (and all the junk I've bought...TV, 2 computers, DVD collection, several thousand Magic cards) not to mention NO debt, all from roughly 6 years of work...less than a year of it while being a full-time employee (got my promotion this past March).

I should probably consider myself very lucky.

Yes, she is.

And no, its Tribblations...(checking startrek.com) Tribble-ations to be absolutely correct.

Its the DS9 episode where physically-altered Klingon agent Arne Darvin steals the Bajorean Orb of Time and attempts to alter history, by killing Captain Kirk before he determines that loads of grain (quadrotritikale, sp?), has been poisoned in order to allow Klingons to gain control of Sherman's Planet.

It was the DS9 attempt to pull a 'Han-meets-Jabba-remake'. The took the footage from TOS "Trouble with Tribbles" and added the DS9 cast.

- We meet Temporal Agents Dulmer and Lucsly (anagrams of Mulder and Scully), who are part of a Starfleet agency that monitors the timeline.
- We learn that the lack of head ridges on Klingons is "not something they like to talk about with outsiders".
- Doctor Bashir gets put in a strange situation, as he meets a woman on the Enterprise that he thinks is his now young and attractive grandmother (and he never knew who his grandfather was). He speculates that he is his own grandfather, and that not 'engaging' his grandmother, he will then cease to exist. Chief O'Brian talks him out of that.

There was an old issue of Star Wars insider that had a detailed article on the 5 (it think it was 5) forms of lightsaber battle. According to it, obi-wan changed his form after he watched his master (Qui-Gon) die. It was an interesting read, and i dont know if it was endorsed by Lucas, but it did do a good job at covering up the drastic change of lightsaber fighting styles between the OT and the PT

They integrated at least some of those styles (and I think its 7, not 5, but it doesn't make much difference) into KotOR 2.

The first few are defensive. The next couple are more offensive. More provide a balance. Mace Windu is the only one to use one other style, which focuses on (what appears to be) erratic movement that provides a strong offense without losing too much defensive strength either.

Or something like that.
