Because here it’s a minute past midnight of the last day of the year, I could be the first to wish “Happy New Year” to everyone! 😄

Dunno... even if the BD-R could be not compatible with every standalone player, the file itself works perfectly... maybe the file is broken...
You are right, no updated in a long time... I'm really busy in the "real" life... don't know when I could be back to my projects - hope really soon, but can't promise anything...
I'm a bit (read: completely!) involved in another little thing called life lately... (^^,) but when I'll be back on track, I would consider to do some tests!
The 30+GB version is simply a patchwork using both Sky and Premiere HDTV versions, reencoded... so, I think it's not worth the time (and band) to download it...
UK BD is really ugly...
***maybe*** a median and/or average capture of the PAL THX LDs (and eventually merged with GOUT NTSC LD) ***could*** be a better way of a "mere" NTSC GOUT LD capture... again, ***maybe***!!!
Still around, but was away from PC since many days... but lurking through the phone! (^^,)
DrDre, even if I'm not posting anymore - due to lack of time, mainly, and because the hot wheater prevents me to do almost anything (^^,) - I still continue to follow this thread; go on with your work, that seems to improve more and more every day!

Without any attempt to doubt your technical expertise but out of interest, how did you know for sure that the bass from the apparently silent LFE channel wasn't remixed into the others, at least partially but was in fact just left out by mistake?
After all, the standalone LFE is technically obsolete since ages.
Dunno for sure, but I prefer with instead without it! (^^,)

what about the 70mm print of the film?
?!?
Come on, you make me blush... (^^,)
Great project; happy you have found a better source than the bad laserdisc!

BATB is not true HD though, it's just up-scaled to HD.
Yep, maybe it should not be on the blu place...
Vinnie, thanks a lot for your help putting my project on there; my upload speed is so drastically looow, and this help is greatly appreciated and welcome!!!
I often can't remember what I've done yesterday, so... (**/)
Well, happy to know (remember?) it! (^^,)
(...must find some kind of bioneural memory upgrade...)
Italian subs are welcome, as usual... (°°,)
It was on ms, until they decided to delete the torrent... maybe I should find another place for it, not so happy, but a bit blue... (^^,)
@kaosjm: just bring with you two smartphones, one with the DVD version, the other with the BD, so you could make immediate comparisons! (^^,)
Some time ago, a member asked me about this, but I can't remember his username, so...
For him, and everyone interested, the French audio track from the PAL laserdisc is available; PM for details.
I think it's way better to scan it in 4K (at least) and then downscale it to 1080p, than scan it directly in 1080p... maybe the cost is around $500, but someone with direct experiences could be more precise... so, at the end, buying the film, ship it to the lab, scan it, and ship it back to the buyer will be around $1000 - not that cheap...
OR... it's still possible to regrade the BD using the (few) 35mm stills on the auction as color reference; it will be not the best way to do it, and results will be way worst than using the whole film scan, but at least it will be free! (^^,)
Even if I must admit it's a nice little movie, I don't think anyone here will spend some money to get it... (--_)
Get well soon!
