STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW

well, seeing as how this thread has been somewhat high jacked from ESB:R to killing off Lando, i might as well ask, Adywan, (since I'm assuming he'd perish in the Battle of Endor) if he might be killed at the lowest point of the battle to show how hopeless it seems for the rebels, or if he sacrifices himself to blow up the death star, or if you're undecided (or perhaps just wanna keep it a surprise).

why do them CGI - get out into the yard and catch some bugs and put em on film ;-)

Lol.

Yeah the bugs idea of course shouldn't be at the top of the to-do list, but hopefully it's worthwhile enough for Ady to give it a try some time.

That is a brilliant idea Matticon, to add a few bugs occasionally flying around the lantern that's charging R2.

I think that's the best approach too, to mainly add fly-sized (or smaller) bugs flying quickly in and out of shots (and most of the time out of focus). You wouldn't be able to see them too clearly, but that's the idea. It should be randomly and also sparingly when you see them, so that it'd feel natural enough and not be distracting from any scene.

Because of their such small size, they wouldn't have to be sophisticated looking - your eyes would/should only see them as black dots, at least for the daytime shots; maybe in the darker shots, some could have a subtle neon-green glow (sort of like fire flies)?

It'd also be nice to occasionally see some creepy insects around on the ground too, but these might be best mainly in the darker areas, namely the cave sequence.

Anyhow, if attempted, these subtle additions would certainly add more "outdoor realism" to this wild, swampy environment.

Edit:

Matticon's, aalenfae's, and Bingowing's last posts beat me to the point about the bugs only needing to be indiscernible dots.

Ady is still set on killing off Lando? I was hopeful he'd change his mind about this :( Something as controversial as this, may it be possible to have two versions? Lol, the Lando dies version and the Lando lives version XD (or seamless branching?) I for one am looking forward to Episode VII, and I would love to be able to watch Revisited 1 - 6 and then 7 (I'm sure they'll include him for 7)

Well Adywan's made it perfectly clear he considers the revisited saga just to be six film saga, since certain elements he intends to remove/alter in the prequels are more than likely going to be present in the sequel trilogy.

When people are already complaining that there are creatures from our world on dagobah already? Adding more real life ones would start the ultimate shit storm, (well that and the fact that i'm going to kill off Lando of course)

Say WHA?!?!? 0_0

okay tv's frink you're starting to go too far on all this, especially on a discussion that's basically over anyway. Can't you find anything better to discuss on this thread than bashing someone else?

It will be over when it's done

The only reason it's NOT done is because he insisted on continuing it just so he could bash the guy some more. and the only reason it's STILL not done is because now you're insisting on continuing it despite the fact this thread has already moved on to another topic.

I get why he hasn't been a threat as a trained Jedi, but he should've been seen as a threat as a rebel. He was the one who destroyed the Death Star and the Emperor and Vader know this. And Vader could sense the Force was strong with him during the battle. Yes Obi-wan was dead, but they still should've seen him as a threat to be dealt with sooner than they decided to.

It may be a bit late in the game for a change like this, but am I the only one who finds it odd that the emperor waited several years after the events of ANH to talk to Vader about Luke Skywalker? It seems like this is the first time they're talking about it. Doesn't this seem like the type of conversation that should've occurred shortly after the battle of Yavin, and not several years later once he's not only destroyed the Death Star but probably done far more rebel activity that was bound to draw their attention?

Would it be possible to move this to the beginning of the film and add an indication that this is shortly after the events of ANH? Or at the very least could someone give a justifiable reason for why the emperor and Vader waited so long to talk about such a major new figure in the rebel alliance?

And please note I am not suggesting making the entirety of ESB take place shortly after ANW, only the scene between Vader and the Emperor and then jump to several years later with the probe droids being launched.
