Retcons are the devil to you, ain’t they?
Retcons are the devil to you, ain’t they?
Oh God not this again…
Pretty sure when Threepio says “Your ship has a most peculiar dialect” in Episode V it’s now referring to L3 being part of the Falcon.
I think that the movie’s editing is perfect as is. If there are deleted scenes, that might change.
Solo a Solo Solo (2018)
Really fun movie. Kasdan never fails to write something fun!
8/10
The soundtrack makes it feel like a pirate movie, and it’s perfect.
I think they were supposed to be those two troopers talking while Chewie tries to kill Han.

Updated list.
I wonder if Maul was voice ether by Sam Witwer or Peter Serafinowicz.
It was 100% Sam Witwer.
I really enjoyed the movie! Better than Rogue One because the characters are actually characters and not walking, talking boring.
The Lando/Han dynamic in Empire was perfectly set up too, which was fun to see. I felt like most of the audience was confused as fuck when Maul showed up.
I hope that this movie gets the sequel that it sets up.
Ha ha funny chimichanga! Fourth wall! Random equals funny, right!?
I think Rob Liefeld is worse at writing characters than he is at drawing them.
That scene is just dripping with tension.
Dick based humor is very high-brow, don’t ya know?
I remember really disliking the first one, but I also just don’t think that Deadpool as a character is funny. Ha ha funny chimichanga! Fourth wall! Random equals funny, right!?
I got reserved seating for this one because 3 movies worth of lines have sort of overstayed their welcome. The place is set to be packed.
For Force Awakens, the line nearly surrounded the whole building! For Rogue One it was only about to the corner of the theater. For The Last Jedi it was about half of that. I wouldn’t really be surprised if I didn’t see a line this time.
Something I love about seeing these movies on opening night is the audience engagement. Something gets me truly giddy clapping and cheering along with a huge crowd. I hope that I’ll get that again tonight.
Milk (2008)
I may be slightly biased, but this is a truly great film. Sean Penn definitely earned that Oscar.
10/10
The news of TotalBiscuit’s passing is truly heartbreaking, knowing what’s been leading up to this.
I hate seeing those YouTube videos in my recommended with thumbnails saying “SJW DROID!?!”. Like, Jesus Christ a female major character Droid in a Star Wars movie? That’s social justice-- Star Wars is for boys only!
You didn’t know that John Boyega’s actually a white man?
It’s never too early.
All I can hope is that there’s lots of deleted scenes on the Blu-Ray, but because the behind the scenes drama here is similar to Rogue One’s I’m not holding out on much hope.
Donnie Darko (2001)
It was pretty straightforward up until a certain point. I still don’t get it. The parts that were good were really good, however some of the child acting/writing was bad.
7/10
Think of jews while watching it
…think of Jews?
The Stanford Prison Experiment (2015)
Saw it on Netflix after hearing good things about it years ago. It was incredibly unnerving. Ezra Miller was the standout performance, but everyone was great! I’d recommend it!
8/10
I’m seeing Solo tonight, and I’m actually really excited! Before, I really couldn’t care less, but suddenly about two days before premiere the hype is getting to me!
For the time being, I guess. DESTROY ALL JEDI is something I’m far more enthusiastic about, so I’ve devoted more time to it.
