More Disney-styled sabers:
More Disney-styled sabers:
The first one looks like the Jabba ANH scene, and the second looks like behind the scenes footage/an alternate angle of the scene where Luke leaves Hoth. Couldn’t tell you the sources.
Lupita voiced Maz in Lego: The Force Awakens iirc. There may be a line or two in there that could work.
My best friend whom I’ve known since I was 2 just fucking cut contact with me entirely. Without warning. With no apparent reason. I know they’ve seen my messages trying to reach out to them. I didn’t do anything (recently) that could have provoked this.
It’s so infuriating. I cried for the first time in forever yesterday because of this. It’s definitely not the whole gender dysphoria thing, he was the first person I ever told (after you guys, albeit I’m relatively anonymous here) and he was very supportive albeit uninformed.
I’ve started having consistent daily panic attacks.
An attempt at Disney-style lightsabers:

The tracking of the original saber element on this shot sucks. Mine isn’t much better. It’s so hard to nail down,
I really don’t like that.
I’m still very proud of this.
Does anyone have Dom’s other description of themselves? I’d love to tackle that now.
Ah, that tickles my funny bone.
The masculine Rey
Solution: Make Tatooine a superweapon.
Seeing two dudes smooch in a movie is gonna affect a kid just as much as seeing a girl and a guy smooch, unless of course they have homophobia drilled into their head very early.
The prequels are half a century before the sequel trilogy, so too many references would be needless fan service.
I just realized Eraserhead came out in '77.
Noriyoshi Ohrai or bust
This is the correct answer.
hello.
first post here!
Hello there!
Come here my little friend! Don’t be afraid!
Well, it is possible that sometimes we got bored with the previous series of the game so its great idea to start with the new one. Well, I also like to play a video game but many times I used to play the shooter video games.
What are you talking about?
I think they’re a bot.
Is there any audience recording of Phantom Menace? Or does anyone who saw it in theaters remember the experience? When were the big ‘ooh’ or ‘ahh’ moments? Any cheering?
In an effort to give Phantom Menace a more down-to-earth, cheery vibe:
A lot of edits cut out this scene, which is a great shame. It’s one of the few times characters genuinely smile.
Also, did you do something with audio? Like, add room tone and foley? If you did, I really like it.
Yup. The roomtone really brings the feeling of the movie back to 1977. The movies aren’t shot too differently either (even though Gilbert Taylor was miles better than David Tattersall)
I actually sourced the grain from the 35mm prequel trailers lol. I’ll try it in black though, just to see what it’s like.

Oofa doofa. Looks like Wikiquote needs to update their list lol.
It’s a George Lucas quote lol

I don’t like to cast aspersions on the fans because I know you mean well, but what I have found is that ninety-nine percent of the Jar Jar Binks haters are failures at life. In essence, these haters are taking out their frustrations on Jar Jar. I don’t mean to be cruel, but we need to examine the facts. The most popular Star Wars collectibles are all Jar Jar-related. Now, the failures at life who have no money, no women, and no future will spend all day on the Internet talking about how they hate Jar Jar Binks. This is very sad. The Phantom Menace is one of the top five films of all time.
Very cool mockups Snooker!
What does Geonosis being a junk planet add to the story, if I may ask?
I think that ‘Junk desert’ is more interesting than ‘Gross bug desert’. It also gives me an excuse for the planned opening (Republic ship flies over ‘chased’ by Federation battleship inspired by this lovely mockup: https://youtu.be/48cc5nvsZ_c)
It could also be used to imply that the Separatists are powerful enough to have their own fleet in Episode III because of the scavenged junk. The idea that the Separatists are a proto Rebellion is strengthened by making them sort of ‘rag-tag’.
Did it take a lot of time to do that? I feel it could be a great asset for others.
It took like 20 minutes. I’ll definitely upload a hi-res version of that scene for others to use.
You know, you also could have the Death Star hologram appear in the middle of the meeting room during the scene where Dooku speaks with the Separatist leaders, if you wanted to find ways to give the plans more screentime.
That is a wonderful idea!
I feel like Anakin and Padmé’s relationship being forbidden is important for the story, but I understand why you might want to remove that idea.
George’s attempt at ‘Romeo and Juliet’ falls completely flat on it’s face in my eyes, so keeping it seems silly. If I edit the whole thing and find it doesn’t work, I’ll put it back in.
Continue to share stuff with us, man! Looking cool.
Thank you!
EDIT: Have you tried making the hologram red like the original? I like it how you have it too but it might look good that way as well and fit more with the red flash after he closes the hologram.
I wanted to keep it white to match up with the plans in Rogue One/Episode IV. I didn’t change the red flash at the end because I thought it would be too much work for when I was making it (I was sleepy!). The flash will definitely be changed.
That clip’s not red enough to be of Geonosis.
Geonosis is so red it’s gross. I’m definitely toning it down.
JEDIT: The Dooku Death Star shot is supposed to be the end of the first scene (including the walk to the conference room ‘I want senator Amidala dead!’ ‘Don’t worry, I’m a man of my word’ , which would wipe into the first assassination attempt. Alien subtitles are everything!
My updated ‘Superweapon’ plot for Episode II:
Geonosis; the Republic’s dumping grounds.

After some unknown battle, a Republic fleet dumps a Federation Battleship onto the largest scrap heap known in the Galaxy; Geonosis. Little does the Republic know that this planet is the headquarters of a vast rebel alliance, known as the Separatist Union. Plotting their first course of action, the Separatists devise a weapon so terrible that their victory over the tyrannical Republic is assured.

The rest of the plot would remain relatively intact. Amidala’s assassination attempts(s) would happen as normal, except the dart mystery would lead Obi-Wan to a find the dart registered to a man named ‘Fett’, living alone in a Republic Army training center on Kamino. He fights Fett in the rain and places a tracking device on his ship.
Obi-Wan would discover Geonosis and the next time we see him, at the start of Act III, he’s captured and interrogated by Count Dooku, who explains that the Republic is a truly corrupt power under the control of Darth Sidious.
After the Colosseum battle, a voice comes over the radio on a Republic transport explaining that Dooku is carrying the plans to a superweapon. Obi-Wan and Anakin make chase, climaxing in a duel. Unfortunately, however, Dooku escapes with the plans, leading to a total Galactic Civil War.
Anakin’s story wouldn’t really be changed as drastically. Anakin would start out as a noble Jedi Knight who feels like he’s ready for anything. His love of Padme isn’t ‘forbidden’ and his overtly creepy moments would be cut.
