you definitely inspired me!
you definitely inspired me!
I feel like if you did that you’d need to show it becoming blue afterwards? like you’d need to shoot a new scene for that to work i think.
I do like ‘Battle of the Heroes’ on its own, but the final confrontation of Anakin and Obi-Wan shouldn’t be ‘epic’, it should be upsetting.
Playing around with sound design in the Anakin vs. Obi-Wan fight. I feel like removing the score and just hearing them go at it makes it much more powerful and less stupid to watch.
Is there a light wrap function available? where like, light from the background footage sort of affects the foreground?
The black wrap from the old background is making it stick out a whole lot
I think this will be my definitive go-to cut! I remember really loving the workprint!
major changes:
-more dynamic camera operation for a less boring viewing experience
-Amidala’s voice is shifted up
-Gunray speaks alien language
-Restructured scenes heavily
Does anyone have any ideas for an alternate, non-gungan way to reveal Amidala’s queenship before this scene?

“I have one battleship on my scope.”
A wipe mid-action scene seems really improper
Yeah tbh I have a shot in mind it’s just i really freaking hate rotoscoping aaaa
how’s this?
An effort to smooth over the jump-cut in the hut scene.
Here’s an idea of a change that I’m very proud of:
Anakin jumping through Padme’s window just makes sense from a character/narrative stand point. “That was some short cut” is now a funny quip from Obi-Wan instead of him being pissed.
This also sets up Obi-Wan’s “I hate it when he does that” line perfectly, as in the original version it’s kind of confusing.
Have the project be at 1280x544 and use a 1080p source.
JEDIT: nevermind
Has anyone thought of combining Episode III and VI into one film sort of like Godfather Part II? I could see something like that working, maybe?
Michael Arndt never saw Star Wars? That’s a complete lie lol. He did a video essay on Star Wars!!
Gosh I love the colors!
RIP
He hasn’t been in the movie at that point? It would confuse the audience, I think, and would seem incredibly out of place.
ew
There is nothing in the text of the new films that there’s a Hayden ghost or that Jedi Rocks exists. Quoting shots from the SE isn’t at all a declaration of support from the filmmakers.
