The crawl was re-formatted to remove 3 lines from it, so that the words "Episode IV: A NEW HOPE" could be added, without the music going out of sync from the added lines.

The best exampleI can think of, is that in the original crawl, the words DEATH STAR start a new line. in the re-done crawl DEATH eands a line and STAR starts a new line.

I did more work on the freeway pic, I have consistent shadowing now, and availible in wallpaper sizes:

1600x1200 Wallpaper.
1280x1024 Wallpaper.
1152x864 Wallpaper.
1024x768 Wallpaper.
800x600 Wallpaper.
640x480 Wallpaper.

Choose your poison, but choose carefully. The wrong choice will look ugly on your desktop.

I got the set a few weeks after it came out

I didn't actually have a copy of the trilogy, and the only close thing was the SE of ANH that I had taped off a TV broadcast many years ago.

I saw the OT of ESB once, and the OT of RotJ a few times. But, I have never seen the 97 SE's of ESB or RotJ. I've seen the DVD's ANH and ESB a few times, and the DVD of RotJ twice.
I was in for a big suprise there...

The 1977 versions color timing puts the crawl at the orange color seen in TPM, and not the brighter yellow typeface seen is ESB and ROTJ.

First screen on the crawl, the sentence "It is a period of Civil War" occupies one line, the crawl was reformatted to remove three lines, so that the words "Episode IV A New Hope" could be added.

I got the two mixed up, you're right he did share Tarkin's hubris with the DS, Admiral Thawn knew the danger, and did leave the DS before it blew, but was shot down onto a nearby planet, and you had to rescue him in the TIE Fighter Game.

I hate people who refer to the company Apple Computer as "Mac"

"Mac" (or Macintosh) is just the name of ONE of their product lines! It's not the name of the company.

I also hate people who blindly hate any computer platform, without a good reason.

Vaders eyes need more red in them. they were not Matte black in the OT, like they are here.

The original helmet was slightly asymetrical, this one has perfect symmetry to it.

that darth vader saber makes me sad.

I could have done a better job with the blade, the thing has no interactive lighting on it.
