ROTS Pictures (SPOILERS!!!!)
Time
I think that the promo pic that we dug up might have been a reject, based on the posted shot of the guy slating the shot of Hayden and McDarmind in ep. III

with that shot, you could change the slate to read "Blue Harvest" and it would not look out of place.

by the way, the photo gallery on the offical DVD said in a caption for a photo of the SSD Executor's bridge, said that they extensively re-created the set for Ep. III. The set where Admiral (soon to be Emperor) Piett scarred the bounty hunter Bossk for life ;P. I have heard that the Executor might be shown overseeing the construction of the Death Star. And will take place at about 19-20 BBY, not that long after AOTC.

The CANTINA

Some more rampant speculation.

After the death star escape. Leia KNEW there were bugged, why did the go straight to Yavin? They should have gone to a planet like Dantooine and removed the bug. Before then going to the base on Yavin. this would allow the rebillion to better prepare for the attack on the DS, and lose less lives in the raid.

Ratings creep and the rhodian who flunked out of the stormtrooper academy.
Time
The ratings given to films has been steadily climbing up over time. A film made in 1977 that might have garnered a PG, if released unadulterated today could get a PG-13 rating.

Has anybody considered that the Han/greedo change in the 97 SE was a rating stunt to keep it at a PG rating, because it would have to be re-rated for most theaters to run it, the SE's were have been considered different movies than the ones that the MPAA of 1977/80/81/83 had rated.

The existing scene would not have gone over with the 1997 ratings board as it did with the 1977 board, and Lucas begrudgingly changed it to keep it PG, the same way he showed the burning bodies of Owen and Beru Lars in 77 to get a PG rating.

Just a thought.
