Just got a bunch of stuff from rikter but want to give him a break a least for a couple weeks. I'm getting ocpmovies discs sent to me too, but i'm interested in any of you guys projects on these boards, their all great and spectacular and remind me why I so love star wars. Thanks guys.

well we should have the prequel trilogy finally covered with the release of revenge of the sith on dvd. also the release of star wars chronicles the prequels, the making of books, and art of books, plus there is dressing a galaxy and the book of fx by knoll. Now if someone out there could just collect all the back issues of cinefex and american cinematographer on the prequels I like these mags better than the books. Of yeah and that droidmaker book that is coming out. Plus that awesome comic one shot from dark horse about the jedi purge, and dark lord the rise of darth vader hardcover from del rey and luceno.

I love the episode III game for xbox, i still think it got an unfair review in gamepro magazine, I kicked that games ass and was left wanting more, maybe i'll pick up a copy of battlefront 1+2, since i've already beat Kotor 1+2 and am dieing to see the ending of the story the second one had no real ending and ended on a cliffhanger. I want more games about Kyle Katarn during the new jedi order to legacy era.

I just bought my first force fx lightsaber and man is it friggin awesome!, it's luke's green saber from jedi and I plan on getting Lukes blue sword and vaders red one.

the superman kevin smith was going to make would have been awesome, except the suits had to step in and ruin it. The script Superman Lives/Reborn can be found on the net. still not sure nick cage would've made a good superman. we should at least be glad that hayden is'nt superman because at one point he was being eyed for the part, and oddly enough natalie portman as lois lane?

The girl who plays Lana on smallville is hot, but no one from that show in the movie.

seen pics from the new movie and the suit looks nothing like the one christopher reeve wore, the actor looks nothing like him. The actor of smallville looks more like reeve but not old enough for the role?

speaking of books I'm waiting for my 50th ann. lord of the rings limited u.k. harper collins deluxe to come in the mail, as well as the definitive corrected text of the hobbit deluxe version with colorized tolkien pictures.

Now as for king arthur, they should do a good film version of le morte d'arthur, and the once and future king by t.h. white you have read the once and future king have'nt you. While your at it you should read mary stewart's merlin trilogy and it's sequel the wicked day easily the best of the modern arthur novels.

If your going to read Milton's Paradise Lost you might as well read the dante trilogy. Starting with the inferno.

the editor of this book series and the upcoming legacy of the jedi series hinted that Jacen is walking the path of the dark side like his grandfather.

Does every jedi who has kids go to the dark side, or only those born out of wedlock, or secret marriages?

kevin anderson and his wife rebecca always intended for jacen to be with tenel ka.

They had Jaina with Zekk, and anakin with tahiri.

So the solo kids offspring are the legacy of the jedi?, or will luke's son sometime in the future have kids.

Too bad anakin solo had to die, it was obvious he would have married tahiri, and was the strongest of the solo children in the force. He probalbly will come back as a ghost.

theres footage of the restoration on the longer documentary on the making of the special edition trilogy, and the magic and the mystery. Theres articles in back issues of star wars insider, star wars galaxy magazine from topps, cinefex back issues and american cinamatographer back issues.

by the way the original technicolor for the first star wars was beautiful I have a copy of the old vhs full screen somewhere. why old george had to recolor the new dvd? it just boggles the mind.

speaking of john williams has anyone ever done a cd preservation of the orginal trilogy album lp's and story of series.

The best available source for the first star wars is the 4 track real to real box set in quadrophonic sound for the soundtrack and story of star wars rare release from teac.

how about complete and restored versions of indiana jones trilogy soundtracks?

Does anyone have the radio sound fx edits of across the stars, or dual of the heroes. The john williams radio interview spots? or the attack of the clones bonus track only available in the u.k. "on the conveyor".

I'd love to get the ced's on the original trilogy on dvd as well as the betamax releases.

The most rare i've heard of is the vhd releases in japan, they would also make a great dvd project, that and the super 8 digest versions and feature versions on 8mm and 16mm.

I found this info on empire on the internet movie database. I already posted it in the super 8 project thread but thought i should put it up here as well.


In the original theatrical release of the movie, after Luke is taken out of the Bacta tank, the medical droid is seen taking a sort of mask off of Luke's face.


A deleted scene that made it to a trailer shows C-3P0 on the ice planet of Hoth tearing a decal off a door where the rebels have contained the dreaded wampas.


When the film was first released, the scene at the end when the Millenium Falcon is docked to Home One and the camera pans to the medical ward window was different. It later changed after the initial release because George Lucas thought that there was some confusion as to where the Falcon was in relation to Luke and Leia in the medical ward.


The Super 8mm abridged version has different takes of Luke talking to Han whilst astride his tauntaun, and Han saying 'watch this' as he tries to jump to hyperspace in the asteriod field. Although the dialogue hasn't changed different emphasis are put on certain words.

by the way jambe don't know if you have hyperspace but they just put up some empire interviews in their audiocast section in mp3. These were they pre-recorded open ended interview reponses sent out to several radio stations/talk shows in 1980 0n lp. They go for quite a bit when on ebay.
